Whatever.I was just saying that if the server is like the real TOP with normal experience, drop etc. the Mentor-Disciple system would be useful for both parts and normal in my opinion.
- The rates are exactly the same as on ToP (aside from 0.5x exp at lv70+, but that doesn't concern new players in the sense that you're talking about)
- Mentor-disciple or "helping people with plvling" doesn't really work here since it's always more profitable to either level your own characters or level someone who's willing to pay a price for it. It sucks, but if you had the option of doing something for free or the very same thing and earn something, I'm willing to bet you'd go for the latter.
I started some weeks ago and yes... its very hard for beginners to make gold. But u can lvl with questing and find a group of same lvl to raid. You can get to lvl 60 fast that way
The only thing which is truly difficult here is that new people might not be used to the pace of the server and how it "works" from the inside. Although the rates, core features and everything else are the same, things such as item value, overall character strength, economy and various other factors which affect the new player experience are different from ToP, especially in its older days, let alone ToP 2.
So for the gold part, best thing to do is familiarize yourself with what newbie money-making ways exist and grind those... or, if they don't suit you, wait till you're higher level and more options open up.
As for the infamous leveling, I'm not gonna lie and say a lot of people used "tactics" such as leveling with a voy+champ, leveling in large groups with a leveling setup and etc, but it's perfectly possible to level on your own with just about any class (maybe full con herbalist/SM is the only exception here, but it's a bit of a silly setup in this server anyway) up to a certain point at least.
How easy that leveling is of course depends on whether you're solo, whether you're using alts to help you (such as a full spr explorer/voy or a buffer/healer), how good your stat/skill build is and etc. But again, this all comes down to how hard you're willing to work and how much you want to familiarize yourself with how the game "works" on the inside.
