Hello everybody, I'm a new player, like 2-3 weeks old, but I played a lot of the original ToP 1&2.

As a new player I had a really hard time even reaching lv41 since the experience rate is like the original game, but I found no problem with the low rate, I consider it cool and important to keep the grind real. The real problem is that new players have a real hard time when the only way to level (even to 41) is to slave yourself farming lv 10 monsters so you can buy 1 level from a decent player, by yourself because you can't make friends farming like a bot - I consider this a real turn off for the new players.

My question is why don't the GMs,
add a Reputation for credits system as the orignial game had, using the same principle as ToP 1 had ( lame apparels, normal rations and normal fruits, novice pet skill books etc.), to make the server population grow (because is easier to give up at lv20 than at 41 when u can do decent stuff and made some friends so you can struggle together), make people more frendly meeting new players while they plvl, and other benefits.

I consider it a good system to reward the new players and the old ones for contributing to the server life.

What do you think, would this system be beneficial for the server future, game play and population?
 
The "clubs" you speak of do not really help new comers, everyone use it to their-self and promote own alts characters only.

Worry not, this "clubs" is already coming soon.
 
I don't mean CLUB system, i mean reputation for credits system, in ToP 1, where you were not receiving items and sand bags and other stuff, you were just farming reputation and exchange 9 rep points for 1 credit and an apparel was like 1K reputation on website.
The Club system is something different that appeared around ToP 2 and was an abuse, not like the Reputation for Credits system.
 
The clubs is literally based on award center, but instead of binding into the reputation points, it just bypassed that and focused on what character and what it's level, literally anybody can level even theirself. It was hugely abused by people who promoted theirself once again.

We'll bring it, but you'll like everyone else who's in denial will learn it will NOT help newcomers.
 
Whatever, if you can't make a difference between the Basic Award Center which worked on Reputation for Credits System and keep pointing to that Club System which was added later as an accessory to the Award Center is your point of view. Guess you just ain't opened minded and are only interested in people malling for everything, not helping new players by old ones but make them mall also to buy power leveling.

I think i made it obvious with that link that Club System and Reputation for Credits System are 2 different things, and which one is fair for the players and which one was an abuse, but as I said you need to be open minded to understand. See you and thank you for your point of view.

PS: I'm not in denial, I played ToP for like 8 years as a non-maller and I could keep up with the mallers spending more time ingame grinding. And when I 1st played ToP I was helped ingame by my mentor who leveled me for reputation and made a friendship relation with him,thing that made me play this game further.
 
Yea I agree Zankza, I wouldnt lvl a low lvl from 20-41, the only lvls I would lvl you are 39-41 same as ToP before...
also if I do want to get Credits I would just lvl my own character, because youre available to lvl it whenever you want + you get the additional 200k and also a Star of Unity.

btw, if you have problems at lvling in low lvls ... gg
 
in real clubs didnt disappeared... they gonna improved, expecialy when TOP 2 created the Angela Jr. which works like Nanas when poss on

So glad we're never gona see either Mordos or angels!
 
I played alittle back when server opened but at the time was working and never had time to play ive only recently just come back so really im fairly new, so here's my take on how i think everything is atm.

clubs need to give a boost to social interaction and an understanding of the game for the first 1-50 lvls of gameplay then i think thats a great success for new players.

Atm your thrown into a game and pretty much told to grind to 60 before you can even have a social life in game you cant stop at FC because its really not viable when i joinned i tryd to find a guild and none would accept me without having a lvl 41 pet like how am i ment to have a lvl 41 pet in the first 2-3 weeks of gameplay even longer.

ok ds same thing there is just to much expected of you gear ect players are gonna be quitting before this point anyway like the levels start to get harder around 50 but by this time you havnt had an social interaction with any other players and you start to question yourself on why your even playing, now im pretty hardcore when it comes to mmo's and i love this game from top days so i have a few reason to stick around although no social life in game for the first 50-60 levels made me want to quit so yeh some kinda of system needs to come in to boost the social aspect of the game.

And on top of that this is why people are complaining about restricted zerging there the only guild that allows lvl 50+ people in there guild going for end game and they are the only guild that will help you progress in some way or another + they are pretty social in there discord, other guilds dont help you in one bit without nagging them for the help and like i dunno but im not about that life so for anyone thats complaining about restricted zerging its really your own fault for having a guild thats not willing to recruit and help make good players your own.

I joined at 50 im now 62 with a few hours a day for maybe a week and a half i did 1-62 this is why other guilds dont have a chance of picking up these players I originally wanted to go to new way but the req was to high 65 now ill be there in a day or two and because of that restricted picked up another decent active player, other guilds have missed out now so ask yourself why would i want to be in your guild if the only people you care about are yourselfs you know, from asking alot of different guild members in other guild on what they think about there guild it seems to be like other guilds are not progressing/helping each other enough.

how the club system is gong to be done I have no clue but it should benefit older players but it should benefit newer player the most
as it stand if its done right older players will add new players and eventually be like yo your not a bad player come join my guild we can help each other out this just isnt happening atm and why the game its not picking up dedicated players.

Friend, im pretty sure Clubs dont gonna do this magic... If u remember in TOP 2 was super hard to enter in a club if u were a newbie... I always want plvl my alts in some clubs, but All liders only plvl their alts...
In my opinion what gonna make new players more interested is make a maze which is restricted good itens like exist in other servers... I already posted it

Btw the idea of reputation for credits i think is a good idea, even if have lot of players gonna use ir to plvl their alts

you speak like the clubs are going to be copy and pasted from top1 obviously our developers are going to tweak them to make up for top's mistakes, well i would hope so anyway .
