Hello everybody, I'm a new player, like 2-3 weeks old, but I played a lot of the original ToP 1&2.
As a new player I had a really hard time even reaching lv41 since the experience rate is like the original game, but I found no problem with the low rate, I consider it cool and important to keep the grind real. The real problem is that new players have a real hard time when the only way to level (even to 41) is to slave yourself farming lv 10 monsters so you can buy 1 level from a decent player, by yourself because you can't make friends farming like a bot - I consider this a real turn off for the new players.
My question is why don't the GMs, add a Reputation for credits system as the orignial game had, using the same principle as ToP 1 had ( lame apparels, normal rations and normal fruits, novice pet skill books etc.), to make the server population grow (because is easier to give up at lv20 than at 41 when u can do decent stuff and made some friends so you can struggle together), make people more frendly meeting new players while they plvl, and other benefits.
I consider it a good system to reward the new players and the old ones for contributing to the server life.
What do you think, would this system be beneficial for the server future, game play and population?
