stop spamming dude.so that means dw mobs no longer drop refs?
probably from TOP2 but how about Broken, Cracked and Chipped Gems? they might help raise the price of Refining Gems
I don't know about FC, but in DS, people go there not for Ref Gems. Drop rate of ref in DS is the worst, no one goes to DS to farm Refs. SMH....One thing that I did not predicted properly was refining gem value, I think they are too undervalued currently. Looking over some brief questions/answers revealed that it's not exactly the supply itself that is problem but actual demand. Without unlimited supply of UG and extremely underpowered normal gems, people have not just bothered to forge at all. Personally I think refining gem needs to have more value otherwise the mazes like FC/DS will continue to decline eventually DW too. My recommendation as follows:
I think the following changes would be suffice:
Salvaging by 20% (1% -> 0.8%)
DW1/DW2 no longer drops refining gem
Additionally, we probably should talk about gems, and why they are so incredibly useless.
Fiery Attack +4 to +5 or +6
Furious Attack +6 to +7 or +8

Too bothered for the price of Refining Gems? Try opening all equipment slots, gem level past lv5, release the cracks/broken/etc...
And this is a Vanilla Server, what do you expect? Players don't have gems to play with, slots to use with.
You think boosting Fiery and Furious will change anything? People already forged those gems. so what's the difference? As if people will make alts just to forge those to use ref gems, lol??
Price of ref gems now are steadied in 300k-350k ea, you want to raise it? Open another gem slot and raise gem level cap. Make cracked/chipped/broken available. No need to nerf the gem stats, lol
If cant do those things, then leave the refining gems alone. They are ok as it is, for a VANILLA SERVER
hmm.. i believe deleting refs from dw1/dw2 would be bad... not that much because theyre really needed as a ref supply source but because for the people who PK over them, it is a symbol of victory.
back when i was a guild leader in top2 we really didnt need those refs at all... we were like 80 people pking over them and only 1 person would keep them per dw, so it technically 1/80 chance you'd keep those refs anyway. however we always felt cool about someone from guild looting the ref and throwing it at enemy guild. that kinda little thing is what kept our server alive for so much time.
seriously though, dw chests arent as awesome to drop at enemies as refs are.
Wrong. It's about cost/effective, for new comers it may be worth for them to forge lust/fiery, if it only costs 1/10th to get 1/3 of rage/lust or even 1/2 of rage/lust provided the scaling is not strong as rages, it would be very smart thing to do until you are more active on server. No matter how you are willing to buff fiery and furious. If you keep with 2 socket limit there will always be only rage/lustrious
You should've realized this already

It's not 1+1, refining gem prices may stay stable, but demand for them has to grow then, otherwise the pricing needs improvement, there is too much supply for the demand.I'd rather sell the refining gems in this case.
