Which is smarter, to get those +1 lv pets and alot of normal rats, and just rather be patient when it comes to pet lvling, or just competely rush, afk stall 24/7 with auto rats and great fruits?

1st of all - Auto Rations isn't working while you are setting up a stall. So no AFK stall and Auto ration shenanigans are possible.
2nd of all - Great fruits let you save alot of money which you would use on Fairy Rations to get 2x that growth ( as you have to level up pet 20x, not 40
.
At lv21 (5040 growth), using great fruits becomes fully efficient money-wise, since you need 2 normal fruits + a stack of ratz (29 rum), equivalent to the price of a Great fruit. Lvling above that with Normal fruits actually results in money loss.
It is, however, worth using great fruits long before that, simply because you save a ridiculous amount of time, especially on 2nd gen pets. My personal preference is starting to use great fruits at around lv10, where jumping that one level becomes more and more efficient.
