I suggested 1st week pvp bar event which I was going to record and edit..+Upload on YT,FB page and fb groups of servers

Create instagram page, upload pictures, link website etc. Then follow manually (or using a bot) 600-800 (more will get you blocked) people a day. You can target them using hastags (ie. #anime, #MMO, even #talesofpirates, etc ). That's how all big Instagram pages were done. Also you will need 2 o 3 accounts so you can follow more people.

With this you can show the server to more than 50k people in less than a month.


That's just one tip. I'm not gonna tell all my tricks to everyone. I pay my college with this.


Edit: This is a number game if only 1 of 1000 people you follow becomes active, and 2 or 3 from the dev team do it, and target 150k a month, that's 150 new active players, each month every month, for free not counting if they bring some friends into the game also.

We need at least 600-800 active players to look active. Old tales of pirates server had (if I'm not mistaken ) more than 5000 active players.

Also unless the dev team pumps money and effort into advertising this server just won't take off.

But 100 players are already pretty good for starters.
