I've this weird effect lag. Damage on mobs or pet movement is laggy/low fps. Anything i can do about this, maybe it's about compatilability?

I'm using windows 10. Intel i7 4710 MQ, Nvidia Gtx 870M

Try making sure the discrete GPU is being used not iGPU for game.exe

Yeah i'm pretty sure game.exe uses my nvidia card, i even added it as exception but same result

Thanks for getting back and self-answering. I am sure many people in future will too experience similar thing and it's good thing you've explained how to fix yours, hopefully they will too fix theirs as well.

Actually I am having the same problem;

i7 4790k
16GB Ram
GTX 760 4GB

Running on windows 10 with every possible update.. How can I actually see if the game uses my GPU instead of Intel graphics?

That scenario only applies for laptop, a desktop graphics will always take predecessor, if you plug into cable into discrete graphics, the integrated is always disabled.

I seriously doubt you are having same problem, but can you please kindly describe in very well context.

Well the game just runs fine, I am not experiencing gameplay FPS drops but effect animations, in particular:
-Damage numbers are very slow (5-10 fps) and sometimes don't even show up;
-SS arrows 5-10 fps
-Cleric bolt
-Pets
-Etc

Everything that is not an unit, a mob or a character, runs very slow, if needed i'll record a video.

Wait. Try restarting your PC. I think it will fix. Trust me.

Okay I'll restart my PC and let you know, however this is something I have experienced for a while, my PC has been shut down several times before searching forums today :)
I'll also post the video in a few minutes, it may help further.

Yes, that is exactly how I memorized it. Here's the thing, your driver doesn't enable "accelerated" mode, because it doesn't recognize or understand that there is intensive work load being utilized. It's mostly driver problem, if not, try to set your "energy" mode to prefer maximum performance.

Okay I'll try to find a solution, also to help other people who have the same problem, now working on drivers, directx, framework, after that I'll start tweaking game.exe's priority.. I'll keep you updated

Hello, im having the same issue, started playing a couple of days ago and noticed the animations fps drop. I tried messing around with the Nvidia control Panel - 3D settings but no luck. Any other ideas?
Im playing on w10 fully updated
