Hello PKO forum!

I dont know if it's just for me, but I experience low fps ingame. When I attack monsters, the numbers appear very slow and non-smooth. Sometimes they're just a little dot on the screen and I never saw them. I've downloaded the patches and update checked the client aswell. The settings are all maxed out, and there's nothing to do with my computer specs. Maybe there's something about my drivers but I doubt it. Is it like this for everyone, or is it an actual issue?

Thanks

yesterday we moved to 64bit.It might have to do with this!

No. Client is 32bit, nothing was even changed at client.

What you are experiencing is definitely a software-to-hardware problem, meaning client cannot get hardware-accelerated enabled (graphics processing unit) so it uses CPU to compute all the graphics part, which is exactly what you described.

Why don't you go ahead and tell us first: what is your GPU and CPU? and if you know, what is your GPU driver version ?

My CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 , 3.4GHz

GPU: GeForce GTX 1080

Driver version: GeForce Game Ready Driver 07/24/2017

Hopefully this will help or give some sort of insight! Also sorry for the late answer, I've been away :).

I need you to take a video, using your phone's camera (so it doesnt rely on computer's hardware) and record the PKO client in movement, so I can see what exact symptoms are. minimum of 30 seconds too (and maybe change a map while recording too)

Here's the video you asked for, it's mostly obvious when I was attacking the mobs otherwise its just a bit laggy. I couldn't change environment too much but I did my best under the cirumstances. Please ask if you want a longer video or not, I can fix that. This is just 40 seconds.

This too happens to me all of time. The solution is simply rebooting PC.

This happens when you have your PC running for very prolonged time, like literally more than 48 hours, then PKO client starts to act strange. effects are messed up with it's time-frame.

The first thing I did when I came home, was to boot up my pc and start PKO. Then the lagging started again, but then I tried to reboot it and it worked! I just found it strange that just rebooting worked considering I dont even have my pc on for 8 hours on the day and always turn on it off during the night.

Thanks for your help and time Zankza!

Just a quick question, will I have to reboot my pc everytime I want to play PKO now?

Why this happens is very tricky question, so far I still yet to replicate on demand, but I promise, when I do, we can fix it.

Replicating bugs is the second step to bug fixing, first step is discovering them of course. Things do happen, but having exact thing happen on demand allows us to use the most extensive tools including debugger on many levels to watch billions of data being churned.

There is no real solution expect to restart, I'm afraid.

OK this happened for one of our customers ling time ago. And we could not reproduce it properly.
In the end, it turned out that He had two problems.
First, he had a Generic Video driver installed for on chip GPU.
Second, the NVidia drivers where Beta or some patched/hacked one. He then installed fresh Release drivers and everything started to work properly.

Similar problem was once seen with another customer. It turned out, that he had old DirectX installed somehow.
We do know that DirectX 10,11,12 are pre-installed with OS. But this game still use old legacy DirectX 8.

Mine was normal prior to the second last update, then it became really low FPS (things like fairy movement and skills became all jerky) but after the last update it's back to normal.
