Give magic classes another bd gem. Currently they have 2 while others have 3. Bd eye is useless for voys, clerics and sms. It is true these are support classes, but they are disadvantaged and the gap only grows wider as the cap increases.

So my suggestion: add a bd tail gem, this would provide 30 magic damage to the char. It could be forged in claw, or even paw. But claw is best.

The nice thing is that this would be a linear growth gem, so there is no huge concern with balancing it. Find what the max ideal magic growth would be and divide it by 3, but 30 is my suggestion.

I think a good way to add this would be to begin with a 40% drop rate from bd(100% on hi amp) and double the drop of other bd gems in CA. After a month or two maybe change this drop rate to the same rate as the other gems.

50 pretty small for bd gem xd 100 can be good or some think like 5%

The problem with 5% is that its a scalar instead of a flat rate. As time goes on and spr goes up the damage would scale very high. This makes the gem harder to balance. Flat rates are better because they are always predictable, rather than being predictable within a certain range. 100 magic damage is SUPER high, imagine a voy that now conches 3k conching 3.33k(assuming 110) their dps increases A LOT. Maybe 50, maybe 30, maybe 70... the fine tuning is up to the dev team, but the point is that a flat rate is how I believe it would be best introduced.
 
Better name: BD Brain. Since is magic gem.
Can be forged in all equipments, to replace spirit gems.

1 bd eye gave crus 50 max and this 50 max is 375 more in slash … 300 to conch seems fair + con magic class get boost in dmg too. Like con voys get cute bonus and sm bolt too..

But like, voy hits infinite targets, mostly 2-3, crus is 1. I don't oppose 100 damage, the question is does this also increase heal? If so why not make it magic atk stat instead of raw damage?

ye but crus have 165 max in sum from lv 3 gem so its 1200 to slash in 1 guy (I know pr reduce some of this number but 165 more max still alot) and 900 more dmg if voy get by conch 3 ppl still seems fair xd
I don't see reason add more boosts to heal... more like need another heal skill to be fair with more big cd and more heal power like it is in another mmorpg with healer class. Its another topic.
 
cooldown reduction gem would be nice also I think, I consider a good idea to implement 3rd socket where you could only add a specific type of gem " armor reduction on hit, poison dmg on hit, cooldown reduction, additional dmg to a desired skill (magics) "

It shouln't increase heal as intense doesn't increase heal either
imo 100 magic damage is fair enough, you have to take into consideration that if it's a BD gem it should give a fairly decent boost
