Suggestion: 80 members per guild

should we increase guild slots to 80?

  • Total voters
    40
I think that this is a good time to reveal something that may not have been obvious to some people and which most people are not active on forum. For the most part, players only see the forum as an aid for guides/questions and are oblivious to know that being part of the forum community can be beneficial.
Out of 21 voters, 16 agrees that the guild limitations should be raised, and 5 disagrees. We can take number and use it as a sample size of the server, because not everyone is active on the forum. We can also look at this in "real life" with our politics, no matter where one is from. It is impossible to get an 100% voter turnout, and because of this, most of the time only about 40-60% of the population do vote. Which also means that these 40-60% of voters are deciding the best route to take for the everyone.
I don't think that the numbers are inflated because the total amounts of votes is only 21. 21 players makes a lot more sense for a forum community size. If the total amount of voters were like 130, and 123 agreed to raise the limits on guild members, I would be suspicious of leaders forcing members to vote because not everyone is active on forum. If 130 people were active on forum, this forum should be alive, like alive alive, but it's not. Truth of the matter is not everyone cares for the forum and will not check it daily.

17 people voted though xD... each of the main guilds has around 70(?) members.

Wow, id love doing a share for only 17 members... huehuehue wouldnt you too @Chris ? xDD

No amount of "poll" will make it consensus agreement. sorry.

80 is kinda too much. But i think that the whole server (maybe 80% or more) would agree on raising the amount of members slightly. Maybe to 35/40 Members. Increasing from 25 to 80 is just way too much. In the beggining of the server when we barely had 600 as online amount, the members limit was already defined by 25. Now we have as peak 1.1k and the limit is still the same and the number of "sides" are still 2. If we had a three-sided pk, that would be different, but that probably won't happen.

What's The point of doing 35-40 slots? I can't see any disadvantages in doing even 80 guild slots. It is how I remember good old PKO when EVERYONE was in 1 main guild like big family. Not splited like idiots flashbombing and stunning each other. Anyway that discussion is probably pointless since Zankza has some strange vision about guilds. Give me one good argument to keep 25 slots because I can't see any, please!

Good point, there actually way three-sided PK in the beginning (Abyssal-Restricted-2007), so it made sense, especially since there wasn't a sufficent number of high level people...
As opposed to now, when there's well over 100 people participating in pk, more-less actively.

I also agree on not going crazy and over 40. Anything will do and won't make more "monopolizable", and as a plus, I believe it would make more people want to create guilds for "fun", and helping eachother out.

Whatever you do, it won't work. Zankza is too stubborn. He won't change his mind. People who don't share his views are considered by him as wrong.

Nah, he listens people but executes things very slowly xd

Sadly on the end of the list. We are asking to do something about guild slots for months already..
And we have endless load of bugs and bug abuse for more then a year now.
And the only source of information lately are our QA volunteers.

BUMP!

lol ...guild war system was forgotten! They never will change this 25 slots!

I like the idea of more guild slots as well. Misclick has made people emo in the past and drama ensued. Split guilds frustrate me as well. Whenever I want to talk to another person in a separate guild urgently about PK, I either have to relay it on Discord or fucking PM them. Also... If there's 4 different TSers in 4 different guilds, forget stealthing about. Might as well run around naked and asked to be slashed. There's no fun in split guilds. But maybe that's what Zankza wants. So that one day we might all fight each other and not all be in the same guild... Like that's ever gonna happen though.

Sadly the topic is aparently dead, we have a monopoly situation since months and months, limiting guild slots doesn't do anything about that, it just makes worse for the sub guilds for not being friendly fired/buffed/ts reveal and follow calls from the main guild, it just force those main guilds to create subguilds, there is only 2 sides of pk in high lv and limiting slots wont make them stop creating subguilds or neither stop their monopoly, i hope that it is not a dream for 1 more year, if server stay 2 years in lv 80 and with 25 guild slots, would be disappointing, so far this server is one of the bests, but people need new stuff for investing at some point, anyway, i have faith that someday u will realize that server has 1 year and 900 daily players already, we not in the first weeks for that limit.
