Developer, we get that most of the changes were made in order to prevent some players of doing RWT, but some of these changes turned a couple of the game’s contents virtually useless.
SQ: I strongly believe that by only putting a level requirement for the “Rare Visitor from Afar” quest way less players would farm SQ as a money making method since leveling a full party to lvl 59/60 would take so much more time. If only the level requirement does not please you, half of the refs could be untradable, but I would not remove the other rewards. A single SQ run requires a lot of farming and SO much handwork. It isn’t gold from nothing, and it most certainly isn’t the only source of gold that is RWTraded between those who do it. SQ is also one of the best ways to undergeared players and those who are not part of the winning guild to close the gap between them and stronger people.
LOTs: I wouldn’t make any changes on Fortune/Career Lots. Right now, the fortune one is used in a way that we do obtain some gold profit and OSS between the 2x Drop Rates, but those gains are compensated by all the time that we “lose” by trading every little gold. There is no need to put a required amount of gold on it. And by making them unstackable, you will only affect normal players who use them for farming, whoever uses BOTs will remain unaffected.
The current system that we have, that makes the player buy a single lot each time he talks to the NPC is enough to make some people choose the CBs over lots.
I don’t believe that butchering 2/3 contents is the way to make players explore other methods, and it will not prevent RWT.
