How to bring new players (in my opinion)

No no no no no no no, just no. I'd say lv61 is still relatively easy, but once you start hitting those lv65+ levels, that's when the real grind begins. Getting a basicly work-free lvl-up till 61 would just spoil people and they'd all give up right away as soon as the most tedious part began.

Best solution I can think of is a weekly Hexa with reduced EXP (Basicly, 50% per run at 61-70 is absolute bullshit), maybe 25% per run from 61-65 and 10% or so per run from 65-70. I'm not sure if 15 minutes would still be enough though. Since the average runs one could do in the two previous Hexa was 2-3. All up for discussion of course.

shift the focus from getting -HARDCORE- players who will not quit even if they get 3% per amp, to getting casual players who aren't able or willing to put up with the incredible amount of clicking and killing the same monster for 0.04%
Funny. I feel like I am always focused about how to make it better for people who aren't willing to put up so powerful and high leveled users, We've seen what kind of tools can provide to hard core users, they level up rapidly, gem up much faster, so my focus is "How do I help the newbies without allowing hardcore users exploiting this help?"
But I unfortunately do not agree on clubbing.
First time I heard someone saying that, I too think clubbing makes no sense at all. It's just mentor/disciples and IGG just couldn't modify the games and they probably didn't want to pay moliyo to develop the mentor/disciples and then used in-house web developers to affix mentor/disciples with more rewards. It's true. Trust me. I know.

And everyone is screaming "add hex" so we can remove the whole BIG chunk of game-play of something called "leveling". Leveling alone takes huge amount of energy/time to accomplish and if we remove that, there is literally quickly running out things to do. Truly hard to balance this.

Bad is strong word, but could it had been better? yes it could had been better. Choices were made and they belong to past, I'm here to focus on present and future.
BTW the clubbing system is an exploitation no matter what. And so is the credit for reps. But maybe as Dakiller mentioned an NCP for exchange of portions for reps may work.
Interesting idea, But it has tons of possible scenarios and I dont think I am willing to take that risk.

Maybe adding hexa once per month and for level 65 and below wouldn't remove this concept you are talking about

Ehm , no one said that everyday or every week there should be an Hexathlon event, and no one asked for 50% exp for each quest completed , also no one asked to "Remove the BIG chunk of game-play of something called "leveling." We just asked for an event wich could increase a little bit the commerce and help new/old non mallers players to farm some Hexa quest Items , and maybe yeah , would be nice a BIT of exp too .

Well , actually a normal screen , with all the ppl next to Argent Ft waiting for the event.

This thing brought me and my friends to play here ,and i'm sure that happened to a lot of people, so it's even a sort of good advertising for the server,that could bring new players and help to keep the old ones , not only a way for leveling and farming money .

In my opinion you should reduce the percentage of experience given by the hexa , and starting with one Hexathlon event every 2 or 3 week , to see how this will work , if it doesn't works , after the first or second time just remove it , it wouldn't damage the server , just place low experience rate to test it ..

You do know right the consequences your demand will lead to. The amount of stallers will increase. people will start selling hex items. This will lead to the increase in the amount of afk'ers. Most people leave once they get to know there are just afk'ers and think the server is dying. Trust me on this...that's how most people left Top2 even before it got hacked. Thats why it is better if it is like once a month. And hex is the best yes. But something which is best should be used as a trump card. I know there are some loopholes in what i just said. But since Zankza is quite experienced..he might find a way out. For now we need to find a way to stop the afk'ers. May be restarting the server once everyday or something like that.
 
Zankza how about multiple exp events for 4days including the weekends just for like 1-2 hrs.

That's right , economy will increase and people will make more accounts (1 - 2 for stall and one to do the Hexa) , so how do u get more than 1 account ? Inviting friends on facebook , that will help a lot the server to increase the amount of players and will also increase the advertising !

That's not the only way bro. u can have multiple accounts by creating a new fb account...well a lot of people are doing that. and i know 1 client per system. But people have more than 1 system nowadays. Right here on the forum a player has put up a topic about creating a new character with another fb account. people find a way to cheat no matter what.

Not everyone can make mutliple Facebooks account , i couldn't do it , so i had to send that to a friend for example
 
The game is hella boring, it needs something for the players to do in order to keep them coming back

IE who gained most XP in seven days (applicable to under lv 60 players only) HOWEVER, it's fairly easy to get 60 in two if not three days. That idea is very curious, just need better properties.

Well I think that's an interesting idea too , but I think first we gotta think on how keep old players , and how bring more players , for me this method could be something additional when we'll find the answers to our questions

how about creating a system that kind of like star unity quest where in you can only accumulate exp through solo grinding and a ring where you can track the exp gained...
 
Another thing that I think is pushing players away is that they have no access to better equips. This is self-serving, but I think it's also true:

CA equips disappeared from stalls. The guild that's been winning CA for some time now keeps the equips in their banks to raise the price, so even players who have no problem grinding for level or farming for gold have trouble getting equipped. I have money, but I have nothing to spend it on because nobody sells anything. You do start to wonder "what's the point". We level up, we farm money, but we have no access to the equips the "top guild" has. Of course, the way to change that would be for other guilds to win CA, which obviously is easier said than done.

So I think we need to find some incentive for this winner guild to start spending its money enough for it to need to sell the CA equips it has in its bank and hence shake the market a little bit.

And, as mentioned in another thread, adding Morph runestone to the mall would also help the game move forward a little bit
 
i'm new on the server, so i don't understand much about it yet.. But i think having a day of the week where u have 2x exp time or something like that is fun and encourages players to lvl. Also events are fun, and help to bring new players (though i didn't like the halloween event that much), but u have to invest more on "advertising" and to produce better content for the social medias (youtube included)...

Also, what about adding new stuff to the game, like islands or new mechanics, like they did on top 2. Though it's not an easy thing to do, and a lot risky... but we could have a test server.

i agree with the stallers and "afk'ers" part. I'm a new player and i had the impression that there is just afk ppl... as consequence of a lot of players that started playing and are now high lvl, with little players "low and medium" lvl... just like on top 2
 
bring back the 45/55/65 clubs for more fun in leveling with sand bags rewards
 
Clubs = suicide.

To prevent the game from being so monoton, just add some events. Like EXP events once in a while, without sandbags or anything. Just little exp boosts. That would definetly encourage me to once in a while log and play.
