Hi just a little post to get an idea of the numbers of people which are planning on maining FC, or at least starting there.

I am, though i'm not going straight for it, i'm gonna do it when i can do it efficiently

I think creating a group and working together to get the ds uns45 eq as soon as possible is the best option, if you leave it too late by the time you actually come people will be already dominating the maze.

Yes but I don't wanna pressure myself yet, gonna try to enjoy the server's hard grinding part while i think of those strats.xD

i think we should first focus on lvling up as a group. Then we can think about the future huehue. But i was thinking about starting a fcer as first choice as well

Leveling groups will be very small, n experienced players will stick together, due to tgeir knowledge etc they will be able to do everything 2x faster than the average player. If u think you will be able to keep up in leveling and farming with players with 10 years of exp you're wrong, that's why in my opinion its better to start at fc/ds and not try and match those players. ( coming from a 2007 top 1 player)

i play top since 2007 as well, but then when top2 was released, i began playing a ps, till i went back to top2.. o.o" its a long and weird story haha

Knowledge and experience do help, but not in leveling. As long as you've had SOME experience with how leveling works in this game (i.e. that you need to kill monsters of a higher level than yours to obtain the max exp, which I think everyone knows), it all becomes a matter of how much time you can devote.
Experience, knowledge and etc. come in handy later on, but not during leveling, everyone can just click on a monster, but how long you can do that is what matters early on.

I was more meaning that higher leveling will require overall better eq and in certain scenarios technique and coordination. Thus the experience etc will allow the more tender players to advance in ever aspect, including leveling. Groups may form at the beginning but once people start reaching certain points people won't want to team up with people due to a number of reasons which will just make the better player get set back by the worse one.

Actually not really. If we consider that mirages will be open eventually, then it is possible to level up 1-90 with eq from npc. But it will indeed require knowledge. And any mistake will be punished pretty harshly.
