Allowing equipment to be put on F1-F12 shortcuts for faster changing to shield, other boots or necklace in PK.

I agree. Having this feature will definitely showcase the "next level" of skilled players. Being able to change modes quickly in the midst of the situation of the PK would definitely showcase next tier of pro pkers.

The problem is that, if you need to quickly change equipment, it's when you're stunned, and you can't use any items or shortcuts then. You can still drag items from your inventory, and even if you're not stunned, dragging is always better since it doesn't stop your movement, unlike using (double clicking) an equipment.

Yes, I see it adding much dynamics in game.

Not necessarily only when you're stunned. Let's say you're in CA rushing to NG for a fight, just right when you pass grocery you would naturally change to enigma boots for higher dodge or PR necklace as well. And if you have to chase someone that is running, boom, 2 shortcuts and you're back in speed mode. Same situation for DW chesting.
But of course, accordingly to this, its a must that you can change equipment with shortcuts while you're stunned as well.

I think many players, including me left click a thousand times while walking/running so it wouldn't be a problem but same as the stun situation, I'm sure it could be modified so it doesn't stop your movement.

Sure, I guess it can be modified, but my point was it seems more trouble than it's worth it. Another thing you'd have to do, though, is make the equipment which got replaced go back to the slot. I.e. You place your dodge shoes on a hotkey, after using it, your speed shoes would have to go back to that hotkey, else the system wouldn't make much sense. So yeah, I do think it's a bit unecessary when you can simply drag.
Additionally, someone mentioned how this would separate skilled from unskilled players, which I disagree on. This would make it unecessarily "unskilled", since manually dragging shows off your reflexes and reaction timers. Some crusaders (in ca particularly) get down to 1/3 hp before switching to dodge shoes, while some survive because they take a few seconds to react only. Quickly scoping your other equipment in your inventory and dragging it in time is a far better display of skill than pressing 1-2 hotkeys, in my opinion.

I don't think this should be implemented because it will mostly boost (if not mistakne only boost) crusader which are already known to be the strongest class

it would make ss's be able to swipe from bow to gun faster. it would make every class able to change pet faster and also equip pr neck. crusaders will only be able to put shield and boots for dodge.

Making ss swap to bow from to gun ( nobody uses bow)
I agree with everyone changing pr neck and pet
Still u see that crusaders get the most of it dodge and extra tankiness and they don't need it

We see an equipment change on blocking states as a bug (crystalline bless, stun, and so on).
So it will be fixed shortly.
On the other hand, why not allow equipment on shortcuts, it won't hurt.
