Unique gems from Item mall.

It seems that there is no winning out of this argument almost as if, half will quit if I don't add UG, and other half will quit if I add UG.

I think that everyone here must come to compromise to some extent that permits additional UG supply without flooding the market. Someone mentioned about "UG Voucher" which essentially gives you a random UG, I felt that was really fair, expect for the "price" I do not have slightest idea on that.

i dont mind a voucher being added for a high price BUT you cannot add it right now. You gotta wait some time (1-2 months in my opinion)
 
voucher = lame make ugs ... and do it pricy like 300 rum per ug that stops the richies for going to lv 4's
the only thing i agree on vouchers is the rings to stimulate economy
but i'm not gonna spend miles of rums just to get that 1 ug
i think 250 a 300 is a fair price per 1x ug

I think 250-300 is way too much for a voucher, I would put it as 100 as maximum

300 for RANDOM UG? R u kidding? 30 bucks for +5 stats in game? U want to say any UG should be priced around 7-8m in in-game gold right now? Because IMPs are 25k+ each.

i didn't read the other comment but all i can say is, its a bad idea maybe atm it is really a bad idea who knows at the future ? ug gems are supposed to be rare and it is normal to keep them if the guild will be available soon, it's not like that 1 guild will always win just because they got those UG's remember that at early stage this game pk will base on how many teammates you got to own them just because u got lv2-3 Ug forge in your eqps doesn't mean you will always win so the thing is how you will handle and obtain those ug gems by your own way

I did read it carefully, UG of your choice shouldn't happen.. Not for any price. nor 100, nor 300 nor `1000 rum. Just make it random just like chest or NSS/OSS drop.
 
Like most ppl who complain about malling are just retards who never played PKO/TOP etc , OR were the Noobs pming us for 5k.

Another idea. Create a new item 'unique gem chest' which gives a random unique gem but to open the chest a key is going to be required.
The key to open the chest should be added to the item shop.
Add the unique gem chests to some dungeons/mazes.
This way mallers and non-mallers have something from it because you actually have to farm the chest and then buy a key.

Adding gems into mazes just let's stronger players run farer away. I know it ''sucks'' that mallers can just catch up by pumping cash into server and not ''working hard'' in-game, but that's the only way how this game can last considerable amount of time with good playerbase.
Idea is fun tho, just not really helping out this exact situation.

Your problem is, you're not thinking about HOW the unique gem chests are going to be received.

Id rather have "stronger people receive faster" than "noobs with money get everything they want without doing anything".

If you're just going to put the ugs into the cash shop you will have the same result why everyone quit TOP.
Also seeing this server just moves the same way as TOP did makes no sense anymore to play because we will know the result.

You're forgetting ToP had possibility to mall unlimited UG's from the start and game survived and did well for like 5-6 years, lol. Unlike any private where this option is excluded and it dies after a month or 2 bcuz new people simply has no way to reach that power level of older players.

Naturally as I am a non-maller, I would disagree with this, but excluding that fact
I honestly think that this is a tad bit too soon. Sure you guys at the top are very bored
for the lack of content but this would be heavily overpowering mallers for the time being.

Max gem lv is 3. You can't even combine anything higher than that, not talking about forging. Also, I already said, that they must be somehow limited, thus I don't know, how to be honest. 1 Gem per day per IP can be easily wrecked by IP changer programs and so on. Need to somehow find a good way how to implement this... Also, what would you gem as ''pure maller without playing''? Eva chest eq? Doesn't feel like waste at all, right? I really wouldn't care if there would be mallers who mall lv3 UG's.. I mean, they still have to lvl up, which is hard in 1x rates server and so on.

It would be stupid to see people with lv3 UG's on first day they appear available tho, that's why UG's from mall should be :

1. Obtained via vouchers/lottery system, so you can't get exactly the gem you want, it's all random, so cruzes don't just mall rages and so on. That way gems will appear in server and non-mallers will have a good chance to buy them, while right now winning party just pwns every maze and stacks gems in bank gemming only 4-5 people on server.

2. Gems bought should be limited somehow. UG droprate is really low, I don't think more than 1 UG per day appears on server ''in natural way'', most likely even less. (Maybe exception is super lucky NSS days, but well, that's just a lottery, so it's fine). That's why I think there should be strict limit to gems which appear from mall. Maybe could make mall have only 5 UG vouchers per day, and they are on lottery everyday. Lets say you buy lottery ticket for like 15-30rum and then u participate in lottery, at end of day, 5UG vouchers are won within people who participated ( kinda can't be abusable, because if some mallers want to buy multiple lottery tickets from multiple accounts, they still pay those rum again, which can end up in alot of money, while still not securing them getting the win).
I know this might be a little bit too much lottery and luck based, but that's my best idea for now I guess.

The truth is, they must be implemented somehow, othervise gap between few people and all the rest will grow too huge to repair it later.
That's how servers die. When new people don't even bother to join because they have 0 chance to catch up ever.

What do you do after everyone has lv 3 gems? We are back in this place. Everyones going to cry about nothing to do. Thatswhy limiting them to lv 3 is stupid.

Also getting lv 6 or above gems is almost impossible. Tell me one player who had lv 6 gems before TOP went full retard modus and sold lv 6+ gems in item shop.

You cant and will never be able to limit them. There are too many ways to go through the "checks". Bann mac? Use other hardware. Bann IP? Change ip.

You say lvling is hard in 1x exp? Who cares when you're main FC/DS player. Even as FC/DS player you one slash people above lv 65

umm... are you stupid? they are clearly limited to lvl 3 for a while only
