Hello!

I came up with something that i thought would be like an pretty nice idea, that could prevent alot of people from getting scammed/or buying the wrong item, so here's what i think of an RUm barrel item idea:

*You start of with buying rum, so you have, lets say example: 100 RUm on ur account, and there's in In mall item, called "Rum barrel, which forexample contains, 10 Rum barrels in it, and it will cost 10 RUM (so its a 1:1 value.

And this RUm barrel, that contains 10 RUM's, that you bought from the mall, for 10 of the RUM's you had bought from before, will appear as an Barrel item in your inventory, which freely can be traded away, or in that matter be placed in stalls (or not?) so it will be easier for people to manouver around with the Rum barrels, as an mobility item, for people buying rum, that doesnt like, or cant invest in Rum themself?

I'm not speaking for myself, since i've actively bought lots of rum's in the past, but im speaking on behalf of people i see in the world chat, so desperatly trying to buy RUM, but just doesnt trust people who's selling enaugh.

So what do you guys think? do you like the idea? is it fucking stupid, and will break the economy? or is it something that could be taken into consideration?

Let me know what you guys think.

It doesn't matter, very soon there will be just only one currency. Haven't decided if we are gonna use Rum Barrels or just Rum. But it wont be long before both is merged.

I think that what he means, is that you create an item on item mall, named "X", that when you double click on it, you get a certain amount of rums credited to your account. The price of the item "X" should be the same of the amount of rums credited to the account when used.
That way you can literaly sell rum (in this case sell X) and avoid getting scammed when selling rums.

Yep, thats what i meant, sorry for the bad explination ;/

But this "rum barrel" can be easilly sold to players for real currency, and that will happen.

But PKO makes money out of those rums one way or another, since the only way to obtain them (for them to be created) is through item mall.

While not a bad idea, this would be what "selling rums" is, which is not allowed as mentioned many times before. You can't sell rums, but you can sell Items you bought from item mall. We really just say "Selling Rums" to indicate the price we would sell an item based on their price in mall.

You can easily think of this as "Selling ItemA for $50" and getting paid $50 in rum. You can say it's not illegal but it's really like getting paid $50 anyway and spending it in rum, except you remove pko from the equation. Basically, you become a third party rum seller, making rum available through in-game currency at rates dictated by players themselves. Big no-no if you look at it that way IMO.

(EDIT: another way of looking at this is being able to buy in-game currency using cash in the form of rum.)

Not against it. The intent is well but doubt it will be implemented because of the above reason.

I agree with @Spidpex by creating RUM coin (or something) so that people can just sell pure RUM to people in game.
Though it would cost a lot of problem like situation below:

1. Hopeless purchase 500 RUM from PKO
2. PKO obtain $50.00 from Hopeless
3. Hopeless bought in game item "Blade of Torrent" from Hopeful at 500 RUM
4. Hopeless now loss 500 RUM while Hopeful gain 500 RUM
5. PKO $50.00 profit from Hopeless remains unchanged.
6. Hopeful being greedy and sell 500 RUM to Hopey in real world currency
7. Hopful Gain $30.00

Totally. Agree.
A Big NO NO on the Item that directly represents RUM or RUM Barrels.

Well as stated some things are changing already, additionally your idea seems too dangerous to add into due to too many possible consequences.

Thanks.
