Problem with redeeming rum from game?

Hi, I'm new to the game and to the rum system so I don't even know if mine is an actual problem or if it's as supposed to be. Anyway, I've bought 25 Rum in-game (by players) and then I went to NPC - Barmaid Donna in order to move them in my account for buying in item-mall; so the NPC took my rum but on the site it doesn't show any changes and it still says 0 rum. As I said before, maybe it's not even a problem as there might be some delay but since I couldn't find anything of the sort on the forum to solve my problem, I'd like to know if it's normal or there has been a problem / I did something wrong.

The rum on the site is 'Rum Barrels' if I'm not mistaken. It's Rum which you get when buying it using real money, and in the game you can convert it to "Rum", which you use to purchase items.

The "Rum" item you buy in-game directly converts to Rum, not Rum Barrels, so it's normal to not see it on the site. You should instead open Item Mall in-game and that's where you'll be able to use those 25 pieces you've bought and exchanged.
