Story quest tips?

Hey all, I've started playing PKO again and I wanted to do SQ for gold, refs, etc. I've seen the guide on this forum but is there any extra tips to make it easy to go through SQ? Like I remember using a certain type of character would be easier like Ami? Can't remember. Hope someone can help me with some helpful tips.

Yeah, sq indeed provide good amount of money. I've some discussion with some pro sq-ers, and they prefer Ami Voyager. Voyager can skip that 10x sea killing quests, which save tons amount of time, and Ami quest in the later part is pretty easy to do. Also, Voyagers are good both land and sea even with poor equipments. By leveling voyagers, you also get a chance for the star of Unity dagger Blade of Torment . If you get 7con5spr or 12spr version it can usually sell 500k~1M. If you get the ultimate 7con12spr version, it can easily be >15M

So every time I want to do SQ I should make an Ami voy?
I do remember people doing herbalist or cleric to avoid anubis if I'm not mistaken? Any thoughts on that?

Yes, by making Ami Voy you'll be unable to skip Anubis. It depends on where're you gonna stop. If you stop at the 2x lv2 ref part, Cleric is the way to go.However if you want to get all the good gold reward at the spring/tunnel quests and work all the way till the part requiring beastie borestone, ami voys are the better option cuz they skip sea quests and can deliver decent damage with any equips. you'll need some good main chars or friends to help you do the Anubis and Spring/tunnel parts though, but the nice gold rewards are great

NP. SQ is a great way to make gold and it does not rely on market. If you can find a good way to work it out you can make decent amount of gold

For the Voy, what level should it be? What type of build? Pure CON? Pure SPR? Hybrid? Got any tips for Voy SQ build?

go for hybrid lvl 45 ami voyager. A little bit of tankiness will help u farm radiant soul and little bit of spr wont hurt either. Also if u dont have hl support, go for cleric, sea quest is better than killing anubis. the reason for getting 45 is u can build eagle at ici and wont die on way to kill shadow mermaids.

Personally, i do on ami voy as i can get help from guild and also have hl char. Refs cost is low on this server so spring chapter is must for gold. But again, you cannot accomplish spring chapter without hl ppl/guild. I need pooliver help on killing the fox

For the Voy, what level should it be? What type of build? Pure CON? Pure SPR? Hybrid? Got any tips for Voy SQ build?

As Arthur mentioned. You can go high Con with some little spr. For the killing and farming (normal drops) you can kill with your main char. For quest bosses like Behemoth , Mermaid Queen , you can get it to low HP with Main chars, relog main and do the final hits with alt. For quest items like Fruit Residue , Crystal Ball , you can get a couple of same mobs to low HP with your main char, and relog your main (so mob drops/aggaro are resetted), then you use your alt and do the final conch (with or w/o amp, your call). With that being said, you don't need very high damage on your alt, so go higher con will be a safer choice

At what point does it gives Lv1 ref gems? I saw in other threads that it doesn't give Lv1 refs anymore?
Also it gives 2x Lv2 refs after Anubis quest right?

I don't think sq give lv1 refs. I heard class quests may give somer refs during mid level but I haven't tried...and yeah, after Anubis you get 2xlv2 ref voucher
