Hey. I got a report: I've rebirthed as SM, and when I used my rb skill, I realized it's actually not making the effects it should. Skill description says:

Devil Curse

Weapon Required: Staff

Skill Type: Initiate

Prerequiste: None

Description: Summons devil to infest on the enemy and does constant damage. Also effect the target defense, movement, attack speed and attack power to decrease.

Skill Increment: Skill effect increase.

ut actually, the only working part is the "Summons devil to infest on the enemy and does constant damage.", I've tested and it does not effect the target defense, movement, attack speed and attack power. I'd like to know if there's a chance it could be fixed. Thanks in advance

We tried a lot to check if it's bugged or not, but we couldn't find any kind of decrease on movement speed, attack power, attack speed and defense.

We did had a fix, but one of the team member felt it was not appropriate fix, so we had to hold it back and review the fix again.

That skill it's been like that since the beginning of (the real) ToP. It never got fixed on the real game, they instead said it was working as intended.

It would be nice to have it fixed though. :)

Well, SM here feels really deprived, the server's version doesn't include the mini-stun on Seal of Elder, nor damage on Shadow Insignia. Granted, making SM's RB skill "overloaded" might do the trick, I would personally rather see changes to other areas (Mainly Seal of Elder, it really needs that mini-stun) and perhaps some small buffs to the RB skill as well.
Using an "overloaded" RB skill as compensation for the class' weaknesses is kinda cheesy since then the class turns into one that's "garbage" pre-RB and decent post-RB.

Hey,

Yes, you do have a point there.

The real game had the same problem as well - namely there were very few SM's.

The thing with SM is that you need to have really good Equipment to be able to do stuff. + You need someone to help with plvl because SM's are most effective at higher levels I say 75+ (but mostly 90+). However, SM is an awesome class because it has many skills - both buffs + revive & seals so that's the huge advantage.

Besides all these, the seals - both Shadow Insignia and Seal of Elder - can fail on bosses. And I mean they fail pretty often.

This is another reason why people don't really play SM and choose Cleric or Sharpshooter instead, especially on the version the server's running and the point in time.

I agree, but I already asked about the mini stun and the answer was no :( It would be awesome, tho

It's because every single post mentioning it in the past included adding damage to Shadow Insignia as well, which isn't the way to go. I'm sure that with proper arguments pro-Seal of Elder, something would happen at least; not just "It was like that in ToP".
