What's new

News Post Launch Success!

It's not even 24 hours yet but I'm fairly confident that there are plenty activity on the server right now which means it's quite success launch in general. I know we've had about two hours of delay launching, But they were necessary as we faced some problems with client at first and then server afterwards, but nevertheless they are now both running very well for now.

What was mostly focused and spent in combination of 1500 work-force hours (equivalent to $50,000 payroll) was security and foundation, When we opened 1.3 source code it was plagued with problems especially with unsafe conditions. With such code it wasn't possible to safely run the server without being hacked, Or running without being in fear of crashes. Very little time was left to improve the game itself, But good news is that now that we've delivered the first stage of secure binaries means we can divert some of the work force into improving game play experience. The server is to remain very vanilla expect where already pointed out changes, but we will purse and leave things as-is as much we can.

Running the server as-is is not expensive, it's maintaining that is very quite costly in time, So every cent of rum purchases will help significantly so developers may spend more time developing as well even start hiring more hands, If there's anything that we learned it's that additional hand can never hurt. We will continue to purse improve security as highest priority, security includes consistency and rapid response to any unintended game behavior and/or cheating and exploits. And performance coming in second, allowing server and client to run more smoothly as well more efficient. Then lastly third game experience improved by adding additional game controls such as changing camera size/zoom in real-time.

I have a lot more of information and strategy for this server but I feel like I have covered too much already in this topic for now.

nice nice

I do hope we can stay "very vanilla" but do some changes to things that are bad even if it means that it might be not as vanilla as some may thing it should be.

For example, I would really like to see Strenghtening Scrolls/Fusion Scrolls/Gem Composition Scrolls to be stackable as they do take alot of space in the banks.
Small things like that.
