I malled a couple of times and sold some Rums for gold. I don't know if it's against the rules of PKO but it's a pretty well known way to make quick gold in game.

Recently some people are trying to "troll" by making Rums sellers spend ridiculous amount of Rum for something that they won't even pay for. So for about 2 weeks now I wasted about 160 Rums ($16 USD) just because some people decided to have fun by tricking people like me to buying something that they wont pay for.

I'll be honest I don't have the most high paying job out there. Just enough to spend my excess money into something that I love (PKO). 16$ may seem irrelevant but I still earned that money and for someone to just waste that is just incredibly frustrating.

Their idea of fun is so twisted that I wouldn't even call them scammers or even trollers. what they are doing is just straight up bullying.

I really hope I got my messaged across. But this is a free game and one way of keeping this server alive is the people who buys your Rums, but with experiences like these they will turn away. Discouraged into buying Rums.

Please be aware of these people: Dafuq, and iCorbis.

PS.
If you are one of those people or even if you are the one who tricked me. I just want you to know I'm not mad at you. I just beg you to please stop this trickery because we Rums sellers are not all rich IRL and money sometimes are not easy to come by. But we love this game, i love the community which in the 1 month i've been playing learned to love as well.

I just hope that something can be done about this like the tittle suggested but if there isn't I guess I hoped you learned from what I've gone through and be extra careful of who you are selling your hard earned money to.

It is against the rules to directly sell rums, most probably because of these situations. I may or mas not been in a same situation couple of times.
Small hint; sell items to those that look legit and trustworthy, perhaps guild mates.
If you suspect someone has bad intentions, sell item by item and never agree on selling items that might not be resellable incase trade goes wrong.

e.g. unpopular apparel

Might be one of their tactic to mess people up and later trying to buy the items for cheap. My advice for you next time is to avoid apps and others low demand items, also ask for their main character (check to see if they in a legit guild) and ask to see their money before buying your items from mall.
