old player tells newbies to quit

me and my friends just started playing the game and my friend is asking players who can b our mentor but this guy just said stop playing PKO just quit well my friend felt bad about it because we tried playing it and enjoyed it but this guy is just so mean to my friend i know we are new but thats just not fair telling newbie to just quit

Actually you told me that you have never play Tales of Pirates nor Pirate King Online before. Then you told me people here are not helping, and in forum too.
I said that because this game is 10 years old, nearly all people know the game. So its hard to learn from ground zero (ex:abbreviation like ref/ds/ca).
You will have a hard time finding people telling you each details, and actually people here are very helpful.

Well if you feel im not telling the truth and considered as rude, then im sorry and enjoy the game

I always help new players, but when your friend said "people here is not helping and in the forum too", then you know what does that mean right?
The "helping" terms in this game is different, well because the game itself is old.

well she is just looking for mentors don't know if you are the one who told her to quit and feeling guilty about it . and we are already following the "GUIDE" we are just looking for mentors who can assist us because its hard to lvl with out healer in our party we are looking for mentors who can give us tips in game

Here you need mentor for mini amps, but its so hard to find mentor who will lvl you (and giving tips), because there are no profit in mentoring atm.

There's people who pay for others to level them up, so naturally someone wouldn't be too interested in helping someone for free, mainly because doing that doesn't really give them much in return, not to mention, I used to help people level up, but most would just end up quitting a few days later and there's been a ton of people who've had the same experience, and we're tired of wasting our time and Rep on people who are pretty likely to leave.

Though there's A TON of players who would help you or others out with knowledge-based stuff and guide you through your early levels so you actually have some experience for later on; on Forums, on Discord chat and even in game (naturally there's bad people too).
Guides are very outdated and they're not very newbie-friendly. They're also being re-written at the moment, so I would rather rely on others for now.

I would recommend you to post any concerns here or on server's Discord chat so that people can guide you. Learning's hard, but it's not impossible, most of the stuff you'll catch along the way.

As far as leveling people up, It doesn't take long to get a few levels for people. There is not that much content in this game, even on ToP i would help. Takes me longer to level you here

Some old player and myself sometimes forgot there a re new player to the game. I usually assume all new people on the server
have experience playing TOP/PKO before. Would be good if we have a complete newbie guide until 1st class advancement

Dooode, I mean, it's the internet. People can be mean af around anywhere, just never take any insults or anything like that too seriously. If u like the game, just keep playing it and learn it slowly.

For example, in Dota2, people keep asking each other to uninstall the game and shit but no one actually takes it to heart and listen xD

If you need a leecher / booster i can manage but im only online for a wholeday if its Friday.
No worries its free ; but please dont afk when im doing boosting cause its hard to go back to the spawn point and repeat process.

I can manage till 35-41 maybe (im still weak) just for you to get the 200k for being disciple (so make sure you have) and please bring mini amps.
Its fine even im not your mentor.
