Hi, so I've spent over 1000usd on this game since i joined, and only today i experienced a problem. when opening the launcher,

I receive the following message after launcher checks are done: "The launcher was unable to find any servers online currently. It is possible that something is intervening launcher from making connection to PirateKingOnline Servers or it may be due to server maintenance. You may either try reloading launcher or visit website for"

The options available are:
1) Visit website (this opens website on web browser and closes launcher)
2) search servers (this checks current version again and same popup message appears saying no servers online)
3) ignore this message (opens PKO client)
4) close launcher (well, closes launcher)

so the only way im able to log in to PKO now is with the 3rd option. HOWEVER, I experience an average of 3seconds delay in response times when im logging in, and also when im in the game. note that this is not due to my internet, my other programs (even those that require more 'juice') are working as normal. I had just logged in about 6hours ago with no problems, however I started experiencing this issue about 30minutes ago. this delay affects the whole gaming experience. when i click to attack a monster, my character runs on the spot in front of the monster for about 4seconds before it starts to hit the monster. when viewing stalls or conversing with npc, the chat popup takes about 4seconds. every new page/popup takes another 4seconds. when i chat, my message appears over my head/in the chat box about 3seconds after i hit enter.

the big issue i have now is that i am 100% sure this is not my internet problem. neither is it my PC. i have also tried re-installing the client twice. and i still get the same problems.

i have done the research and some players have encoutered this issue before. however, there was no real way to solve the problem. it just magically goes away by itself?

hope i can get some assistance here. really do not wish to quit a game after spending over 1k usd on it.

start with the basics, like doing a ping test to our servers, do you know how to do a ping test?

is it using "cmd"?

packets sent: 4
packets received: 4
Lost: 0 (0% loss)

approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
minimum = 256ms, maximum = 256ms, average = 256ms

Our Server IP: 142.4.219.226

Press Windows+R key

A run dialog/window should appear, in the textbox type "cmd" and press "Run..." button

After the command prompt opens up, type "ping 142.4.219.226"

After it's finished pinging, take a screenshot of the command prompt and upload the screenshot to https://imgur.com

Thanks

So yes, in this case, your ISP/Firewall/Anti-virus is blocking the connection :(

how do i solve this issue? i already tried turning off my firewall, and it doesnt work. i dont have any anti-virus running.

I see you decided to left out the third part, I said Anti-virus, Firewall, and ...

ok so i call the ISP. how do i explain to them whats going on? they dont seem to accept the explanation that ONE program isnt able to be used cos of their end

Try switching off your router for few mins and turn it on again ( Restart your router). Alternatively try flushing DNS

Well, I would be happy to show you that it's your internet by setting up a proxy on your PC so the internet get rerouted before your ISP drops it, but that's getting complicated.

Anyhow, what preetham suggested is actually very good idea. Do reboot your router/modem (same for your pc) basically completely refreshing your whole house network can help especially if it suddenly stops working as you described.

ok i did the reboot. and i called my ISP. they claimed that they did not do anything on their end and refuse to help me since "my internet is working" and the problem is with ONE GAME.

nothing seems to be fixed as of now. what other options do i have? if thats it then i guess i wont be playing the game anymore. though it pains to just throw over 1k away like that

Dont get frantic, this happens sometimes, as i told you try restarting router/modem. Or just wait a day out.

Try this command in cmd.

ipconfig /flushdns

ok i recalculated. i have spent nearly 2k on this game..

i tried that command and did a ping test. now it's worse, with average of 460ms.. haha... not sure i want to continue playing if such random thing happens and causes the game to be unplayable.

Additional: the IP that my ping test is running on, is still not the IP that zankza provided. what can i do in this case?? my ISP isnt doing jackshit for me. claiming that it is not their issue since i am able to use the internet.

did another ping test. average is now 600ms. my other games are around 6ms
