This topic was something I discussed with Zankza many times back in FoxLv, until he released the second server. I think you have the wrong approach to this. You shouldn't wait for 1k players to open a new server. You should open a new server SO you can get 1k players.

As someone who played FoxLv, played at the start of this server and am coming back, i'd like to have a chance to be competitive.

We can see many players returning but quitting soon after because of lack of motivation.

Back in FoxLv the progress was fast, but the ceiling was high. Here the ceiling is low, but the progress is slow. New players have a really hard time competing with 2y/o characters and get demotivated.

IMO there should be a new server every 4 or maybe 6 months. It is enough time for the top players of the new server to get similarly strong to the top players of the old server, while still being always fresh and inviting for newcomers.

This way it is always fresh, you never have a wipe, merged servers will have instant pk, everyone coming and everyone wanting to start over will have a new chance and the game will be kept healthy.

A new server nowadays would be just a Server Wipe in the current server. We are struggling to keep it alive. If we go for a new server we will have a high peak at the beginning and then it would goes back to same thing as it is

it would be like a wipe but it would be some spare time for developers to develop till we peak on new server.Plan B if new server fails merge them back into 1

why do you want 2nd server so much?Stable 600 is very hard.Especially if you exclude the offline stallers.I mean i would like 2nd server even right now but 600 stable ..ermm
+If a new server comes up at least 100 active players of the old server will quit the game and many will move to the new one,which is gonna bring alot of cross-server trades.So we are left with a new server and a dead server.And new doesnt always mean healthy population to sustain the game

That is why it is necessary to keep the balance.

I learned of this server after it had been out for a long time. I was unable to catch the server first DW bosses, CA, BD, etc. I understand your concern about killing the old server however new players need to be brought in, and a new server may be the best way for this.

maybe, maybe not, im a old player, and i get alot of player's concern about this new server thing, but as a old player (who dont participate much in pk) i would absolutly love to see another 2nd server with fresh neew start. where players from 2017 will have the same advanatges as players from 2016, and so on, to put pk and bossing into a new perspective

Its probbaly risky to do, but hell, in my personal opinion i would love to see it
