Hello. I've played Tales of Pirates casually a very long time ago, and realized i had the option of checking it out again in 2020. It's free, so why not? Anyways, i remember absolutely nothing. Could anyone clue me in a bit with the basics? I don't intend intend on playing in a serious manner though, but still. Currently lvl 21 as Carisse (Swordsman -> Champ obviously).

- What is the "end game"?
- Gear progression. Skeltar chests? New and Old Sheepskin Scrolls? What's up with all of that?
- What do you recommend as my "main" first character, and what does an optimal build for that character look like?
- Fairies? What's up with them? I'm willing to spend a few bucks in the mall, what's worth buying as a complete beginner?
- Professions/Life Skills. Are they worth it to a beginner? Which ones?

Other than that, any beginners tips or links to specific guides would be appreciated.

Levelup, max unique gems, death equips, rebirth lv2

Skeltar chest = lv30
Inca chest = lv40
Eva chest = lv50
Enigma chest = lv60

NSS and OSS are luck based treasure maps that you go towards the specify location and receive something. NSS is more newbie friendly since it can give some decent return in money, OSS is more of a gamble but higher chance of getting unique gems.

Theres many guides here, optimal builds are pretty simple you can use the stat simulator for those. Since you are champ, you should definitely look into plvl or making an alt to lvl yourself.

Save up your money and try to buy a higher level pet than starting a new one from mall.

Manufacturing and cooking with their respective farm skills (wood cutting and fishing) are some of the best ways for money-making. Just time consuming.

If you plan to go high level, save all those blessed heaven berrys that you get for later. There are cheaper amps that can help you level until lv66, HBs are quite pricey compared to them.

This non casually this game is either really time consuming or expensive, so dont expect it to be easy.
