How profitable is it?

I've done many things for money, item hunting, leveling others, merchanting, gem combining, but one thing I never did was mass opening of NSS\OSS. I always feared it was kind of a lottery thing and since my personal luck was never high I avoid situations where it is needed, but some people are so consistent on buying NSS that it must pay off most of the times, if not all the times. For those who have done it, how good was it? I understand some people who currently do it will not be eager to share their moneymaking methods since more competition means less money for them, but I'm very curious to your experiences. I opened 16 of them one time, and I horribly regret it since I lost almost half the money it was worth.

I did 1stack for Goddess Favor's when i was leveling up got 2mil back(cash prize and npc items) and x3 goddess favors

Well, about OSS... (as I'm pretty sure noone has opened more of them than me in this server, like 700).

Only way to ''win'' is getting UG pretty much. Other cool thing could be some lv75 EQ with some stat bonuses ( for example Apollo gloves with +acc or smth) and Standard pet skills ( which are not available via any other instance in game).
OSS is worth around 40-55k ea ( the money u lose by opening lots for each OSS on average, if you use 2 accounts and transfer any won money when opening lots, takes alot of time but is worth it no doubt). And well, you can't get any decent money (max is 20k while NSS is up to 200k) from it, and most of the time you will get straight up crap for that price (Stalls sell for around 60-65k). However, once u hit UG, u can sell it for around 12m, which is like 180 OSS moneywise. I'm on par to not go broke (if only UG's would count as profit), as I've opened 4 of them on around 700 scrolls. Ofc there is other nub eq which u sell for like 10k and gold 5-20k drops, also some Standard Pet skills, which I like and few lv75 EQ I actually kept in banks, oh yeah, and gotten like 3 refs aswell.. But well... You kinda have to be lucky, cuz in long term you don't win THAT much. However, opening UG in like your first 50 OSS or so - Mega profit lol.

P. S. I've opened my 1st UG in this server on 14th OSS scroll...
Also can't be 100% sure, but all 4 UG drops are from Ascaron region, so I'm not sure if Deep Blue and Magical Ocean drops them aswell.

Well, it's not like it's some broken way to fortune or anything.... U actually will most likely lose more money than u gain if u start doing OSS lol.

What the hell is an Old Sheepskin Scroll?!?!
I've never opened or used one and only have ToP experience with NSS, although not so much as you people-of-7-stacks-sama.
So my question is: What is OSS? What does it give compared to the NSS? Does it have other level limitations different than maximum 40?
Do NSS even give gems at all? Enlighten the dark spots of my knowledge!

And who drops that? NSS is dropped by a vast majority of low level mobs. OSS must be some specific ones, because I've never got one from any exp farming spree with mobs 60+

None of monsters drop OSS. You can obtain them with small chance by opening Fortune Lots from Spring.

Mano, eu abri abri varios stacks de NSS já. O que eu já ganhei:

* Muitos items lvl 15-60 que vendo pro NPC mesmo (90% dos meus nss foi assim);
*Gold (a partir de 20k até 200k);
*Fusion scrolls/ Tickets variados;
*1 goddess favor até hoje;

*As vezes dou má sorte e sou teleportado pra outro mapa ou é sumonado um monstro e tenta me matar;

No mais nunca ganhei outra coisa mais valiosa, como gems. Sempre fico na expectativa de ganhar algum gold mesmo. Eu sempre farmo nss ou peço como pagamento de plvl que dou pra outros players. Acho que comprar não vale muito a pena.
