Hello, I'd like point out two things about guild system.

1. During first thirty days, Guild creation is barred. This means you will be not able to create guild, albeit no recruitment or apply can be done. This is done primarily because during newly created server have fluctuations everywhere and by all means encourage players to bring their friends and harness the "party" functions to max.
2. Depending on proven server activity level as observed in first thirty days We may consider changing the guild slots to accommodate appropriate server activity level, this means both, the total amount of guild and total amount of members in guild is subjectable to adjustment. Nothing is final or written, but we'll be closely observing and consider community's vibe.

in that case you'd have to kick a lower lvl, which again, sucks and isn't beneficial because they're working towards the same thing

20 is not enough , 80 is too much 35-45 imo is good

It's good to avoid over recruiting with a cap on the slots, but if you go very low newies won't be able to group and catch up (the advantage of the newies are the numbers)

The difference between 80 slots and 40 slots is, how many alts can you get in a guild. I'd say fuck it, 80 slots. If someone will want to over recruit, he will be able even with 30-40 slots. The less slots, the bigger disadvantage for newbs.

in a way, you are right, the less slots, the less of a number advantage a newbie guild can have at any given time. but if people want 40 slots, then sure.. as long as we get guilds

As someone said alittle above, when guildwars is going to be a thing 20 people will be waaaaay off... But as some other dude said, maybe start with a low number and then in some weeks/months make it bigger.

Looking forward for the guilds, will be good times in FC again.

If you make it smaller than 30ppl, then you can just not make guilds available at all. Guilds are must right now, so newbies and second tier people could fight against best ones ( as right now there's close to no competition at all). I'd say just let it roll with 80 slots, I don't believe there would be guild who would really overrecruit right now (playerbase simply isn't that big).
