News Guild Bar

Hello, I'd like point out two things about guild system.

  1. During first thirty days, Guild creation is barred. This means you will be not able to create guild, albeit no recruitment or apply can be done. This is done primarily because during newly created server have fluctuations everywhere and by all means encourage players to bring their friends and harness the "party" functions to max.
  2. Depending on proven server activity level as observed in first thirty days We may consider changing the guild slots to accommodate appropriate server activity level, this means both, the total amount of guild and total amount of members in guild is subjectable to adjustment. Nothing is final or written, but we'll be closely observing and consider community's vibe.
 
I agree that there should be something like a 15 person restriction on guilds, you can't remove it totally for a whole month, guild system was a foundation for TOP, the guild competition was what gave high level players a lot to play for, it's what made everything interesting because not everyone will be starting with friends the guild system also created a better environment where you could easily gain many friends and feel more comfortable in the game. One of the things i loved most about TOP that i cannot find in other games was the community, world chat was always filled with people challenging each other, giving jokes, having talks, etc. it was so lively made the game feel a lot more fun, that and PvP bar
 
Not to break the hype or anything for the server to be a vanilla but is it possible to make a guild leveling system? Where in the higher the level, the more members it could have. Just a little bit of input

that would require quite a bit of extra programming and testing

I believe that the team who developed this is capable of doing such a feature as long as a sufficient motivation is provided by the players.

The server being vanilla, does this mean we could NEVER expect an update or a feature that is unique to the server would be released in the future?

Generally things should remain clean as possible, but adding ways to get original items like for example, would be adding a fairy devil fruits into OSS which is still very much vanilla since both OSS and devil fruits are very core feature of game.
 
@Zankza Hear the people, man, we need guilds, it's one of the most important aspects of the game... it similar to say "ok, server will open but are taking mazes away for 1 month" or taking stalls away for 1 month, or taking bank away for one month, or taking pvp at bar away for one month... these stuff are CORE for the game, you can't remove them.
 
I think, we can live without guilds, however not for a whole month.
Re-open guild after like the weekend, on monday maybe.
This way people can play for a couple of days maybe make some friends who then will join a guild together.
 
No Guilds. Else it will be monopolyzed too soon. (DW I mean)

In some way yes, because in mazes even u will have 15 ppl, 5 is max in party, so it wouldnt be like 10 seals and 5 voys conching boss if in same guild. If u know what I mean

I get what you're trying to say but the bossing isn't issue at all for a large group if you know what you're doing. Back in FoxLv everbody who played back when they made guild members 8 max and we just made handful of guilds and boom nothing changed. People can still boss without any problems even tho they are not in same guild.
 
The core question is: are you insane enough to believe that lvl 50 characters with yellow box equipments can monopolize a server in the week, let alone a weekend? It's part of the strategy to know when to give up lvling to go to mazes (probably only to get eva chests) and boss (i'll kiss the feet of the group who can kill b2 before the first 48h)... guys... this is a 1x exp server... not even new servers had this rate in top, they usually went with 2x or 3x exp for the first week or so... no mentors, no gear, no gems, no NOTHING...

An Idea: Not limit the amount of players inside the guild but limit it by levels.
Lets say level limit is 500. This means you can have 5x lv 100 players or 50x lv 10 players inside a guild

Bad, because at some point you need to kick people because they get too high level
 
Does it? I don't think having to kick your friends from guild because they are working towards improvement is a good thing.
in that case you'd have to kick a lower lvl, which again, sucks and isn't beneficial because they're working towards the same thing
 
20 slots guild is enough... there must be room enough for people to outnumber the winning guild.... just release them already... and fix the server... i couldnt do first hexa because of patch update, no i wont be able to do the second coz of server instability
