I rarely comment here in the Pirate King Online User Voice, yet I see in this new Exciting update that you guys are discussing level 70 and 80 Voyager corals. I am a voyager in the game, and one of the things I'd like to see to create a more fair Pirate King Online is going beyond the limitations of what this game was limited to back in the day. Let me explain:
Back in the day (Like 10+ years ago) When this game was released, computers weren't as fast as they are now, games weren't as popular as they are now, and resources/coding/design choices for PKO were made to be as cost efficient as possible. You can see the remains of this in-game in many areas, yet one of the areas I wanted to point out that pertains to Voyagers is the inventory. As you know, Voyagers use their wind and thunder corals in place of rings and necklaces. I believe this design of having to use corals in the ring/neck slot is from back in the day when there wasn't any extra resources (Money) to code something in the equip inventory for Voyagers to be able to have both rings/necklaces equipped while also having their corals able to us (Kind of how all characters put fairy in second slot for it to be active, first inventory slot equips wings, etc...). It's why, to this day, Voyagers don't have a slot nor a way to equip their Thunder and Wind corals WHILE also wearing their rings/necklaces.
The remains of the inventory equip system have benefited some classes. Mainly, it benefits crusaders who have the opportunity to gem 2 held weapons, as well as have their necklaces/rings on (THOUGH also the occasional champion dual wielding/using sword and shield benefits as well since he can use two weapons and have necklace and rings on as well).
The equip inventory system is neutral to some classes (Clerics/Seal Masters/Sharp Shooters) since they don't have 2 weapons to potentially gem, but they can still use their respective weapon without losing access to abilities and having 2 rings and a necklace on (of course, except Sharpshooter's gun versus bow, but that WAS intended to be Either Bow or Gun).
Unfortunately, the equip inventory system has hurt voyagers for a while, since they can only potentially gem one weapon, and they ALWAYS have to choose between wearing necklaces/rings or having tornado and lightning bolt. REMEMBER, All other classes can wear rings/necklace without having to lose access to their other abilities.
For a fairer opportunity for Voyagers, a well as because you're discussing the level 70/80 corals now, I beg of you, Please, consider fixing this for voyagers in one of two ways:
1. By having a specific slot in inventory for Voyager corals to be equipped while also allowing rings/necklaces to be worn by voyagers (ex. 3rd slot is thunder coral, 4th slot is wind coral [5th slot fog coral?]).
2. Giving stats to the level 70/80 corals that would be comparable (or ideally the same) to the equivalent rings/necklaces they would be wearing. (ex. Thunder coral level 80 would have the stats of the level 75 ring) which would allow voyagers to be able to have access to the stats of rings without losing Literally 2 of their 3 serious skills.
By doing this, you will allow PKO not to be held back by the constraints it once was back in the day, allowing for a better game.
What are your thoughts?
