Alot of people buy multiple apparels to make their own style. I think there should be an option in item mall to take individual parts from every apparel just to see what they look look (Im NOT suggesting that people should be able to buy single pieces from each apparel)

Nice idea!

so would the end price be calculated like, if you bought 3 pieces of 1 set and 1 piece for another one by adding 3/4 the price of one and 1/4 of the other one for example? that seems complicated but useful if its possible to implement. Im one of those people who combines the cap of one set with the rest of another haha.

Maybe make an average price of each of the pieces for a particular set, where the body is the most expensive part. e.g If you have wild west set (4 pieces) maybe the gloves hat and boots are all 9rum and the body is 22 rum, but idk

It would have to be priced based on demand of a certain piece, not as a part of X set. To clarify, Lance Strees Shoes on ToP were worth more than all the other pieces combined, same for Wanderer Hat, Wildwest Hat, Frozen Heart Gloves, and any other "popular" piece of apparel for that matter.

Honestly, the idea is cool, it would allow more diversity for sure, because I'm sure there's few people that would actually spend Rums on 3-4 different Sets for a piece of each, so it comes down to being patient and hoping you find that one piece which you really need on stalls or world.

But, considering the number of Apparels, I don't think it's worth the work. Every single one of those Apparel Sets would have to be examined and each piece would have to be priced accordingly to demand. Now I'm not saying that EVERY Apparel has one piece which is more popular than the others, or the sole reason as to why someone would buy the set; but there's quite a few for sure.

To cut it short, I like the idea, but I feel like it would take a lot of work, and perhaps lower the amount of revenue that the server gets from Apparels.

Just throwing this out there: Surprise set. You get 4 random pieces from different sets in 1 package. Maybe there could be a tier1, tier 2, tier3. Like, tier1 would include cheaper/less popular sets in it's pool, and so on. It's not exactly what your main idea is but I think that would create for more diverse options as far as mix-and-match apparels go.

I'm not really for separating by piece because of the cons leba listed above(too much work, less revenue), even if it saves players some rum. You can't really ask anyone to put in work and sell for cheaper. It's like saying, "I'll buy the supplies for my deck from you but you gotta build it for me." (I worked at a lumber yard, sorry.)

At best you can have a "black market apparel" sort of deal for each type of piece.

I think the random apparel piece from certain sets is cool, though I feel like the randomness would have to be compensated by it being cheaper. And I'd say that's not a good way to go due to the fact that Apparels aren't really priced by popularity. (I.e. Battle King, generally a popular Apparel is 25, whereas something like Fortune is way more expensive).

Perhaps pieces from Apparels within a price area (i.e. 25-49)? Dunno.
