“So a lot of our player base is either people who have played the game since the Beginning or at its peak of Glory or even at some point in time and are back for its nostalgic feel; as with any game there are many items and skill sets (I.E Cooking or Manufacturing) that help people bring some form of Money or source of Income in their Inventory as they play the game.”
One thing to note about PKO is that it is notorious as is with other games having a Maze EQ, or a Dungeon EQ (I.E FC, DS, DW, Abba) making equipment rather Limiting, or very Cookie Cutter. For instance a person comes into the game and they figure they have to do a maze, or simply put go to a stall and find this maze equipment to have literally the best stats possible for their current level or as you continue to progress to end game, you join a guild and as you do Abbadon or even 95+ mazes whoever was faithful, consistent, and continuing to aide the guild would get the equipment.
One thing that has been seen is our crafting system; which every game has. What is funny about our crafting system in PKO is that people do not really use it to make equipment because there is very little purpose and reward behind it, meaning the equipment you make is not relevant and not worth it = meaning it’s not good enough to be used = meaning it won’t be sold. Unless you land on a unique bow (I.E Meteor, Recca, Dawn or Dusk) you won’t be making money and even those are hard to get, craft (also with stats) and sell.
So What am I Proposing?
I am proposing to make the crafting system relevant, meaning fixing it\Changing it so people find purpose and a want to use the crafting system rather than having it in game yet no one uses it. I am so limited on crafting in game because again NO ONE uses crafting. However to some extent I have a proposal on how to make it worth your while. So what are those proposals? Here it is.
Ideas, Restrictions, and Notes (To be Re-Evaluated due to Ideas and Buffs/Nerfs):

Ideas, Restrictions, and Notes (To be Re-Evaluated due to Ideas and Buffs/Nerfs):
- When you craft items, it should be special. People who take the time to pick this skill up should not be hunting for blue prints to make items that the NPC’s sell; (again making the skill redundant)
- Blueprints: blue prints will have a better rate of equipment from all variations of blurry, invocation, encrypted, and sealed.
- Base stats will be the same: meaning if the gun says -5% attack speed, if you craft the gun it will have that stat in addition to whatever stat you rolled on that weapon or armor.
- Stats that Include are basic: meaning it could roll on either +hp, +sp, +def, +Str, +Acc, +Spr, +Con, +Agi, +Dodge, +Crit, +Hit Rate, +Aspd
- (I did not add +Physical Resist because as much as this is a vanilla server it could add problems down the line. Ultimately discussed by Developers)
- Level 1 & 2: You can have small Dual\Single Stats Rolled on a crafted weapon\armor (Ex: +2 Str +2 Con
- Level 3 & 4: You can have an Increase on Dual\Single Stats, Other stats are unlocked: +hp,+Sp, +Def, +Crit, +Hit Rate,+Aspd,+ Dodge. (Ex: +4 Acc +5 Agi or +4 Acc +3 Crit Rate)
- Level 5 & 6: You have an Increase on Dual\Single\Other Stats as well as Cardic, Color changes on the name of the weapon\armor, and Triple Stats Unlocked as a Roll (Example: Fencing Sword (???)-(???) +5%aspd<-(base stat) +7Str +7Con +5 Dodge)
- Level 7: You can Roll Max Dual\Single\Other\Cardic Stats on a weapon\armor when crafted, chances of a Socket is possible, Chances for Name Color Change is better.
- Stats: Stats will be relevant to certain pieces of equipment.
- Meaning you should not be able to roll a +5% attack speed on a shield or staff.
- However you could roll another +5% attack speed on a single hand sword, bow, or gloves.
- You cannot Roll 2 of the same Stats (Example: +7Str +7Str +7Acc)
- Physical Resist as noted above will not be added unless the Developers choose to put it on.
- If it is ruled in, It will be restricted to Armor and Shields Only. No Rings or Necklaces.
- Stats will stay relevant to Level, Meaning the average of the stat rolled to a level 45 weapon will be +4-6, The Average of a level 55 weapon will be +5-7, The Average of a level 65 weapon will be +6-8. Remember AVERAGE.
- Stat Rolls are Random But relevant: Meaning if you rolled a +Str and +Con (Example: +7Str, +5 Con) The lower stat will be random but not 1 it will be relevant to level as stated above (Example: +7Str, +1Con)
- If you roll a Cardic you cannot get any “Other” stats (Example: +7Str, +7Acc, +7Con) you cannot roll an extra stat of say +5% attack speed
- "Other" Stats will be relevant to equipment and level.
- Having a Max Crafting Skill, or Higher Crafting Skill gets you better Rolls.
- Meaning if you have Max Crafting and you craft a level 1 BluePrint, stats can look very good according to the restriction of that level of Blueprint.
- Having Max Craft Skill will have a POSSIBILITY to Roll A Max Stat, never Exceeding 2 Maxed stats (Unless it is Cardic).
- You can Roll a Cardic with All Max Stats, however that is a rare roll.
- You can Only have 1 socket made through Crafted Item.
- All Crafted Items should have the name of person who Crafted them. Promoting those to seek the person out if a certain level blueprint is found.
