Since a lot of people have been reaching higher levels recently, I've been thinking about adding new instances or group content and such to the game to spice things up a bit, and Abaddon 5-9 seemed like a good idea. Although I don't think that the server is ready for Death Equipment at the moment, therefore for the whole Abba 5+ package, I think the "first part", Abaddon 5-9, would be a nice addition to the game.
It could be a weekly instance (as it was in ToP if memory serves, once every Saturday?) however I think it would be cool if the times were more flexible, i.e. adding a 6 hour difference in opening times so that four different times are covered per month.
Would be more fun if it were a PK zone (Though I can't vouch that I know whether it was or not in ToP), especially since getting to the portal (Which is in Abaddon 4) is a bit tedious because it takes a Ticket or the Skeletar/Naval entries, neither of which is cheap or easy. So I guess that could balance the PK out a bit, just so that it's not one guild bringing a whole battalion as it happens during i.e. BD.
But if it were to happen that the instance becomes monopolized from one side, the rewards aren't really all that big. Lv70 Framestones, Clawstones and Pawstones which have a 3% drop rate, out of which many are very bad and generally unused. Not to mention, all of these items are obtainable from other sources (bosses, tiger gamble, crafting, Kals) so it's not really expanding the game, rather adding another bossing/PvP instance which also includes a sea boss (Besides Kraken, there are none worth doing which is a bit sad) which could serve as a secondary source of obtaining already-obtainable items (But it being a weekly instance and 3% drop rate, I doubt the server would suddenly become flooded).
