Nerf Algae Entanglement or fix sea gameplay

Hi everyone,

The point of this post it's to discuss the current situation of sea gameplay on Port Royal.

Due to algaes entaglements can be stacked here and they don't have a % chance of fail, some sea bosses are being easly killed and abused. It's known a very reduceded amount of players are camping these sea bosses respawns and getting inmeasurables winnings from this.

Here's a clearly example on how 3 hermes claws and more than 15 dices were farmed in a couple of days.

Said this, I really think it's neccesary to review the impact of the current settings for the sea gameplay. Having these zones as no-pk zones (treasure and naval) limits also the possibility of contesting the bosses and in the end it relays on sides with more people and more high leveled ships. This already turned into a monopoly of the sea bosses and is having a huge impact on the server economy and progression.

My proposal is to add a chance of failure for Algea Entaglement and don't let higher levels of the skills stack up with lower ones. Changing this zones to PK zones should bring a little more balance also.

Looking to hear community thoughts, but I noone can't dissagree that this business is clearly broken and unbalancedand just as many other farming activities got "balanced" (OSS, plvl alts, SQ) this should be also reviewed.

I agree that it makes life a lot easier. But imagine needing kraken kill for Rebirth and u need to rely on 20 ppl + 3-4h + multiple reruns cuz of your suggestion? Or imagine failing all abbas cuz can’t do kuroo in time? Maybe the OP thing is be able to stack algae’s. It’s like we could stack Stuns, and it’s not possible. Back in 2016-2017 was harder to kill sea bosses and PKO Staff changed it. Also, don’t need to create new forum user to make user voice thread. Don’t be ashamed of your suggestion and use your main forum account to it next time.
 
When land monopoly ends we can move on to sea monopoly other than that it’s not hard to camp a sea boss and try it yourself it is non-pk zone anyway

I've been preparing for farming kraken since server start, so it's more like a couple of weeks. I can see how you might think it's too easy to farm kraken, but I doubt you would be able to do it my way. Also calling a monopoly on a non pkmap boss is nonsensical.
 
Only one person is doing this, and no one else has attempted it in almost 2 months since the server started. Why? Because it's not as trivial as you make it seem. Nothing's stopping you or anyone else from doing the same or contesting the person. The kills are visible on system and the respawns of the sea bosses are known to everyone.

Yes, and many people have complained that such changes "ruined" or limited money making methods. Why would you further contribute in limiting the amount of viable money making methods?

It’s like we could stack Stuns, and it’s not possible
You can stack stuns the same way you can stack algae though =o
 
We stop monopolizing the sea when monopolizing on land is stopped too, ez as that sir, and instead of complaining why don't you do the same since as you said its non pk map, algae can stock.
so maybe you could do the same and stop crying here
