Sea weed killer, an item made to "counter" sea voys as land players, absolutely destroyed sea combat

As a DS player, and voyager being my favorite class, I am completely shocked that an item such as this exists. It completely disables the opposite voyager, making it a literally must have and, at the end, making every fight a pissing contest between mallers to see who threw more money at Dev.

Imagine an item, purchasable by rums, that read like this: (Consumable) You become immune to non-physical damage for 1 minute. This would be to voyagers and bcs, the equivalent of what sea weed killer is to sea voys. This could be easily fixed by adding a huge damage debuff to the user after using the sea weed killer (this way land characters can still use it without issue and it doesn't affect sv battles), not this is just a quick idea I'm sure there could be thousands of workarounds. Or fuck it just keep the cheese and let mallers own mazes like it's nothing, like anyone gives a shit about F2P in a game literally made for paypigs lmao.
 
Item exists because it was highly requested by players.
Maybe reduce the timeout of the item?

Yes please, something to balance the sea PK. Otherwise, once the weed killer has been used, that's the end of the battle.
 
It's also relevant to mention that the only class with relevant impact on sea PK is the voyager, I agree that the seaweed killer is a completely busted item, don't get me wrong, but it's also true that not-seavoy classes have no hope in sea PK against a voy, outside of huge ship level differences.

Some hard thought should be given to mazes that are highly reliant on sea pk.

I totally agree with sea weed killer being an anti sv option but I don't think it should dictate fights in SV vs SV either. That's why I suggested a huge damage debuff after use or something, that lasts for a while. That way it is of no use for sea battles themself but more of an escape tool for non-sea classes
