I have a lot of time to burn and waste since it's my vacation. So as @Light has mentioned in another thread, we believe that guides could help newbies and other people who have forgotten old ways of making gold, leveling and other tasks PvE-wise.

So i'm gonna start off making a NSS Guide.

Maybe this thread could be transferred to the Guide section when the server's launched.

All credit goes to the uploader. The guide is in spanish so I will try my best to give you an overlook on how to use New Sheepskin Scroll ( NSS )

What is a New Sheepskin Scroll?

• Commonly known as NSS.
• It could give items, spawn wolves, and even teleport you back to your recorded spawnpoint, hurt your HP below 10% ( It won't kill you )
• Way to obtain NSS/s is by killing monsters enlisted here: Mobs that drop NSS
• A good way to profit because it drops the following items : NSS drop table
• It could also give you gold ranging from 10k - 200k

Things to consider when using a NSS :

• Drops are purely RNG ( Random Number Generator ), though most of the people who uses this method usually gets profit or at least break even.
• You could only have 1 Caribbean Treasure Map at a time
• Do use NSS at great quantities rather than using them a few at a time ( Go to the Treasure Gulf when you have at least 20 ) because you could end up losing profit rather than gaining.
• Use a character that could handle the monsters spawned because it may kill you if you're using a lv15 newbie and would have to go back to the island to re-use the map.

Steps on how to use a NSS :

• Usable by players from levels : Lv15 - Lv40, any level beyond 40 and below 15 wont be able to open this.
• You must have a boat docked in Shaitan. The kind of boat is not important.
• go to Shaitan City, talk to the Obscure Harbor Operator at (828, 3705) and choose to "set sail". (If your ship had sunken, choose "salvage" first)
  
• There are 3 portals that you could go in to go to Treasure Gulf which are in Magical Ocean ( Shaitan sea ) : Portal #1 - (877, 3756), Portal #2 - (2202, 2781) and Portal #3 - (1000, 375). One of which is showed in the given video above. (0:36 / 3:54)
• Upon entering the portal, go to (660, 1000) or (630, 935) to dock in the Pirate Hideout Isle. Remember to avoid the Spirit Ships that could kill you so be careful and just sail beside the island (1:43 / 3:54)
• When you have docked, use one NSS, it's supposed to give you a Caribbean Treasure Map. Double click it and check your system, it should give you coordinates wherein you have to re-use the map. Put the coords in your Radar ( Alt + R ) and just follow the yellow arrow pointing to the coordinates given. (2:02 / 3:54)
• Upon standing on the given coordinates, use the map, if it says you're in the wrong coords, move a round while spamming on using the scroll. then VOILA! You will have the random drop that it's supposed to give you which I've given in the NSS Drop table above.
• To leave, you can use a ticket or re-enter the portal wherein you have entered. ( At sea )

Suggestion: add some of the most valuable drops. Also important point, if you can, get goddess favour before you reach lvl 41, it could help later. And when you reach the correct coordinates, you don't need to move at all, just spam button!

Always wondered, how does doing NSS esentially 'full time' stack up vs doing mazes, dw etc, and other things like SQ etc.

You can use math for that. You would need calculate how fast you can get a certain amout of nss, how much time you spent to dig it, and averge gold/item gain. As for personal expirience it depends on server. Being in party that does bosses actually more beneficial, if you can farm chests and then sell it, probably also better, but otherwise, who knows.

Yeah, like unseals 55/65 if you work hard enough.

I find OSS more useful, but getting them and doing them is pain in the butt.

NSS is really more gold method but not UG/Books/Other stuff you get commonly from OSS.

Correct, NSS have way more gold return then OSS, but almost no UG drop, really really rare. However it does drop tickets, which is extremely usefull, and unseal 35. Unseal 35 staff actually decent, 8 spr =D
Also it have a chance to drop stat reset, which is cool as well.

Not only that, also you may end up opening a scroll which coordinate's on the other end of the world.

thats why before opening a nss nor a oss you should atleast have a extra ticket since nss and oss are like a blacckhole and part of other dimension that we didn't visit hahahah
