Write a poem

• Writers must write an original poem about PKO embedding topic of "summer love"
• The poem must have some originality but can be inspired by other poems
• Poem must be at least 20 words, preferably no more than 150.
• Poem must be friendly and not too harsh, as we will publish some of poems
• Poem must posted before end of event but can be edited until end of event, where the submissions will be locked, and event judge will make final decision of best poem

3. Three winners (equal winners | equal custom rewards | variation rum barrels )

Winners will be given following:
A one selection of weapon apparel, this weapon apparel is unique clone and has permanent visual effect binded to itself, exhibiting visual glows. Additionally a prorated amount of rum barrels will be assigned depending on what place won between first and third place. More information about this to be detailed later.

Sweat and Tears

Not many of you know the story,
of Pirate King Online and it's glory.

It was a time of joy, party and rum,
but there was much...much more to sum.

We are pirates wild and so restless,
thou...the experience from our adventure is priceless.

It's not all in glory and money,
sometime it's just about blueprints and honey.

let's all remember the Summer Love,
share to newbies one or two gloves.

As you share and help others,
your pirate gang will become like brothers.

Brothers will help you in the end,
you will get the Black Dragons Head!

Updating my entry:
I wanted something more original and whilst I was standing in argent thinking of ideas I noticed a little creature, turns out even the lowliest among us can instill inspiration..

Some have said that the sleepy snail,
Will never find a summer love,
Why should it? How could it?
It's Grimy! Too Slimy!
And all of the above.

Now it's true, that is, the sleepy snail,
Will not appeal to most.
It’s shell a mustard purple hue,
Just entirely too gross!

And watch this little sleepy snail,
Just go about its day,
It's Bolted! It's Jolted! Slashed and Squashed!
In hopes it drops a pretty petal.
Oh gosh here comes more sharp sword metal.
Just leave it alone and let it settle!!

But WAIT!

You little squishy beast,
I hope you don't lose hope.
And shy away in your swirly shell,
I promise you can cope.

Because with those squishy sleepy eyes,
Just look around and see, the Attention, the Fame, the Glory you get!
Without you this game would simply not be!

So here's to you O' sleepy snail,
We're all your Summer Loves.

A never ending training
Sweat and blood pouring in my hands
I mustered the courage to go on a journey to the sea
For I, the fearless swordsman

Fell in love with the summer heat of voyage
In search for treasure
To the unknown place and danger
Hungry and tired

The dazzling sunlight warmed me
I fell in love again with the summer heat of voyage

My boat Glides on thy' Crystal Sea,
but my Heart remains on Land,
a hazed voyager who journeys
to the darkest of swamps;
must beseech to thee!

Here's a sigh to those who love me,
And a smile to those who hate,
The azure skys above me;
and the tender gust of summer breeze,

Though the ocean roar around me,
it still shall bear me on;
The desert's seas are nasty,
on the Conquest to the mermaid queen,

The sight of shaitan city,
As I gasp'd upon the brink,
i return to my one and only;
our souls which are in sync,

where water, thaste like wine,
love came to find us both,
this is my other half;
the one that vow to never go.​

Summer love today, summer love tomorrow, summer love till it end, love can be cold like icicle, love can be neutral like argent, and love can be hot like shaitan, and there is nothing like summer love, the world is always a meltdown, but summer love is inside my mind, I breath, I ate, I take summer love every day, I poop, I exhale, I give summer love every day, I speak summer love until days will pass, I will speak summer love until it’s over, I will speak summer love until summer love becomes a language, and ill be drinking barrels of rum under a coconut tree, facing the sun on an isolated haven, singing summer love songs

A Lance appears from behind the bushes.
Who's he staring at?
A Phyllis's coming from the shores near outskirts of Argent
How should I amaze her?
Thought he - should I show off?
"10k my max?"
And with that zest,
He slashed that low grass.
The girl noticed too how strong he was
Can you give me 1Mil? - That's what she asked.
They went to party, level up together,
Until one day they married forever.

Here I sit,
In an Argent bar,
One ale in hand.
I tell the keep not to stray too far.
Though I did.

On this warm summer eve.

The voyage was long, a pirate's always is.
To Fortune and back,
I close my eyes, but for a second.
In the dry summer air, a scent seems to beckon.
My heart leaps forward, I rise from my chair.
And like a vision, an angel stands there.
She glides over to me, I'm frozen with tension.
But as her lips move, I lose apprehension.
She’s pale like the moon, and pure as a dove.
My woman, my all, my true summer love.
My eyes open once more.

Argent City is filled up with shops
Players are leveling to get strong as f@ck
Though my PC is getting really hot
And people started calling me a nab

Well looks like there is many more entry than expected, Winners will be announced some time later, you can no longer submit poems though.

OK This was difficult to decide but due to huge amount of submissions I had to be more stringent when it comes to event's rules. Some of most common mistakes includes:

• Short Stories instead of Poem
• Quality of grammar and poor sentence break-ups
• Poor involvement of either Pirate King Online / Summer Theme

While overall I was able to read everyone's posts, I was rather actually amazed by how many quality poems we had here, I had no idea we've got writers at PKO. Maybe we'll look into making more similar events in future and set out more better principles.

That being said, the three equal winners are:

Summer in Pirate King Online

Summer in PKO, it's relaxing
you can feel the hot vibes, between Pirates and monster's
as they battle and fight during this time of the year,
the active and energized people are busy at the Summer Isle
while the lazy ones, makes their way down to the bar to take a zip
of some rum, not too far, away from their place they call home.
A dream, they call it, during these hot times
but most people will just remmber it as
Pirate King Online.

Beneath the warmth of summer rays,

She sits, she waits,

More sweetly then the Ascaron breeze,

The smile that lingers on her face,

Reminiscing his touch, his kiss, his gentle eyes,

She shuts her own and prays.

But knows deep within her fragile heart,

Goddess Kara does not decide her fate.

Additionally, I will be giving small rewards to those who I deem posted quality enough of poems, and I will be contacting the three winners to arrange their permanent winning as well.
