Hello guys,
I was just recently checking the database of mordo.info again and I remembered that other than from NSS there is no drop of the Gem of the Wind, Gem of Striking and Gem of Soul.
In Chaos Argent you can only find Gem of Rage and Colossus from the Expert Chaos Chest and the Black Dragon Mobs.
The others are not available through any other means than NSS.

It's a pretty low rate from OSS, and as you said in a thread long ago, it will take too long to craft even one :)
 
Well, I've checked on Mordo.info again, and seeing as there is 7 Expert Chaos Chests, which drop Rage and colossus and there's 7 Standard Chests, which only drop Refs and the normal gems, we could make the standard chest drop the other 3 UG's to make it more interesting overall.
What do you think? I know it's not "vanilla" but there's whether they drop all from expert or we split em up doesn't matter really but it would make it more competitive in the fight for UG's in CA.

Ah ofc, but i just wanted to mention possibility. Craft especially not recomended, while OSS is a legit, but long way.
 
Trust me, when server launches, CA will be PACKED with players contesting for UG's and normal gems/refs.
I agree, after people reach the necessary level to enter CA, they will, I'm sure of it, but most of the times, after a certain amount of time, there will be a...let's call it "group" since guild isn't activated, which will dominate CA a bit.
That is not my concern though, I just think, making 14 Chests drop UG's is better than 7, because this way, if you fail at killing a standard chest, you can reenter for experts and get another try.
 
Of course I know that Refining Gems will be very valuable, too, but who wouldn't like the chance of getting a UG?

Yep, and also, based on which gem(s) you need, you'll prioritize different chests. I think it would be fair if Exp. Chests dropped 3 types of UGs and Standard dropped 2.

Well, doesn't really matter which chest drops what gem, since the amount of chests is the same as long as it actually gets split up to two chests.
