I know the server is meant to be a hardcore-like-original-server, but I still think there's a lack of enjoyment. Leveling up and grinding for the good gear and goodz can be fun sometimes, but I'm sure everyone comes to a time where it would be nice to do something different. Like me, I really enjoy exploring the world in PKO, but there's no reward or surprise in exploring (except maybe in story quests or NSS/OSS). Thatswhy I would like to propose a chest-like reward which would appeaer in a very big area of ascaron (or any other map).
Example spawn size area:
I know this maybe sounds kinda OP, but it would be strongly nerfed and present a nice way to create enjoyment for everyone (low and high level players). You know, once you would find one of those it would probably be like a drug to you.^^ Also abusing it would be really hard because of the re-spawning area size and time.
So here's just my imagination of this (just as an example):
-The chest (mob) should have a moving ring like the mini bosses, otherwise you could really easy pass it by without knowing. It also should have only 1HP to be able of being killed by everyone.
-the respawn time should be reasonably long, like 2-3 hours
-chest drops should include practical and usable things for high and low level players, but still nerfed to not create any kind of inflation to the server. As drops I would suggest NSS,OSS,Rations,Skele/Inca chests,levelup ticket (for lv1-39) or gems
-After killing the chest, it would be fun to see a world system message, like "<player> just found the hidden chest of Ascaron at <x,y>" or something like that. ^^
-Would be nice to check if the chest is alive in a NPC or somewhere, or maybe not and just leave everyone on the toes?
Well that's basically it for my suggestion, please don't judge me too hard for trying to improve the server by adding my ideas, but feel free to leave your thoughts on this.
