Hi everyone, can help to start again here in PKO. I play TOP but for personal reason i leave the game (ohh and beacuse TOP2 is become Pay2Win xD) but i wish start here and wanna know what class is better for start here?? i like Cruss and SS but normally the equips and weapons is quite expensive!!! then need a class for make some money and fun too! well i hope anyone can anwser me and cya!!!

I've been doing fine with SS and cleric. Equiping the cleric has been cheaper so far, but SS is cheap enough!

IMHO herbalist/cleric is rly easy all the way up to 44 (just get staff of the avenger as early as u can, should be worth 35-50k), being able to kill ninja moles the fastest. So I started leveling my cleric first, then I used her to plvl my hunter/SS unitil it was around lv43 (at this point the cleric started to have more a support role than plvler, grinding lv42 wolves and lv45 archers @Icicle with the SS as the main dmg source).

Although hunter/SS can do fine alone, it's rly good to have a support, this way you can go to higher level mobs early. Atm, my SS is 7 1/2 levels ahead of the cleric.

Regardin equipment...

Herbalist skeletar chests cost me about 10k each, while hunter chests cost me about 15k.

Never used incantation chests, those are expensive as fck and not worth it at all, I stayed with skeletar and lv35 unseals until lv50, tho if u rly want a lv40 chest weapon, you can try killing skeletal archer miniboss, hopefully no one is farming it round the clock (happened to me).

Eva chests for cleric cost me about 5k each. Eva chests for SS cost me around 13k each.

Haven't looked for enigmas for cleric, but SS ones are cheap enough, I got mines around 15k, tho I think they are a bit more costly normally. Tho atm I'm using lv55 unseal equipment, which was rly cheap, 900k armor, 950k gun, 1m unsealed boots (I saw for 750k but didn't have money at the moment, later I could only find for 1M and was desperate for some movement speed hehe) and 400k sealed gloves (I bought them to unseal them later, for the movement speed).

---

I'd also consider champion & seal maaster for mazes, their equipments are the cheapest, but u shouldn't make a SM your first char.

Voyager can sell plvl and go to mazes allright, but he's also expensive, albeit not as much as a crus.

oh boy, this game has and always will be pay2win. essential items such as pets are in item mall. but u got the "option" not to buy kappa if u starting and poor af. U just have to CLICK HARDER and REST HARDER for hp/sp recovery xD LUL

If there is a easier way to obtain an item doesn't mean you're obligated to choose it. 1 stack of rations is 380k and you can earn 380k in an hour or two of easy low lv farming.
Don't be discouraged, this is not a P2W server at all.

Good luck with your new start.

P.S. topic wise you would probably be best off with some kind of a sealer, either SS or SM because there is a lack of them.

original top was 100% pay to win. Here money do help, but non mallers can play here on equal footing with even richest of players. For starting class i suggest voyager, because they are cheap to make and u will need them to lvl your future chars.Cruss is good for lvling but at the begining u will be undergemmed and weak so it wont work well.

Full SPR voyager and then rebirthing into some other class, easy gameplay

"this is not a P2W server at all."
PAY TO WIN = U BUY SOMETHING THAT GIVES U AN EDGE OVER OTHERS
Im not dissing the game coz its p2w most games today is one way or another p2w. Im dissing ur comment for it is a lie.
would you think id care to comment if im discouraged in the game since i played this for almost 2 years. dude pls

take my previous comment as a warning for non-mallers as it is nothing but the truth.

Don't mean to sound harsh but you seem like a frustrated asshole. You can't mall any item that grants you significant advantage over others which isn't obtainable in game therefore not p2w by a definition.
Item mall is well balanced to maintain prosperity of the server in order to keep it growing and alive without giving advantage to those who decide to spend money on it.
Telling someone who is new or didn't even start playing here that this is pay 2 win game is a disinformation, especially comparing it to IGG's ToP.
A fair statement would be that there are items you can not buy in-game but from item mall or players who sell mall items.
However, such items sell relatively cheap so anyone could afford it.

P.S. someone who played this server for 2 years should have a better example of p2w thesis than "..essential items such as PETS" considering that fairy box is a drop loot from more than 10 monsters.

Fairy Box

will you tell yourself that a 41 additional stat from a pet fairy is not a significant advantage? no?
as ive said im not dissing the games item mall

there is a reason why i picked PETS as an example u just don't buy pets for looks. They practically give stat in exchange for rations which is 4000 ingame currency a pop. i cannot give u the exact amount of money and time ive spent lvling 2, 1 gen pets to 40 and marrying them and lvling their now lvl 41 2gen daughter. but it cost me a fortune.

Telling someone who is new or didn't even start playing here that Fairy Box drops in 10 mobs but not saying THEY ARE ALMOST ALL HIGH LVL MOBS from LVL55-100 which is impossible to obtain for new players is a disinformation.

Its an inflation of them. Fairy box is worthless in game, if you ask it on world chat people will give it to you for free. Your example applied for begining of the server but not for current state.
If pet items werent mallable they would be in NPC for the same amount as it shouldnt be easy to get end game gear.
Its not like you can mall a lv 41 pet.

Items in NPC = bad in game economy + game has no financial stability
Items on mall = good in game economy + game financial stability

This being P2W is same as saying LOL is a pay2win game because you can spend $$$ to buy champions instead of farming points to buy them.

ToP had Kylin sets in mall. Don’t compare apples and oranges.

u bought its "food" in the item mall effectively buying it. thats pay2win in my book.

you are insinuating to me that item mall or pay2win is a derogatory word for me. As i said no im not dissing the games only way of financing itself as it existed long before.

It was my intention to warn this poster that he has the option how to play on his own hands.

Thx a lott!!! for the anwser men, really help me and give me a idea for start. A couple of question:

1.- Build for cleric is put stats in SPR and later CON i know that but any order in specific to up skill? and what skill need it to lvl up and later for support?
2.- And this is difficult any suggest for SS build?? Acc/Agi, Acc/Con?? in this server still use SS full Bow? or for the gems and weapons is not avaible???

1. Well, my cleric was more of a battle cleric (had maxed bolt), so I'm doing a new cleric for support now LOL. I just maxed harden and got the other skills to the minimum required to get other cleric skills/buffs. Going full SPR. Not sure if this is the correct way to go. It's just what I'm doing.

If u don't care for having two clerics, you could do as me, otherwise, you could start with an explorer (doesn't kill as fast as an offensive herbalist, but it will be more useful to plvl after becoming voyager).

2. I haven't seen any high level bow SS, so it seems like a bad idea. I saw an FC bow SS, so perhaps it isn't too bad to go to FC with the lv35 bow. I've seen some manufactured bows lv40+, but that's it, haven't seen the lv75 bows. I'm going for ACC SS, with only a bit of AGI (20 points). If I was going for a CON sealer, I'd rather do a SM then.

Perhaps a higher level or more experienced SS could give better or more detailed advice?
