I understand, but if you lend your car to some friend and he steals something, the police should not do anything because you lent?
I see ur point, but this is the game policy, if developer would have to return all the items from people scamming others, he might aswell call this game Scam Pirates Online, and he wouldnt have any other time to do development for this game

about car, not even your family? this thing happens not only with friends, but with parents and children too.
If your family or ur friends steal ur car, then i think you need to reconsider ur family or ur friends, i have never heard of this happening in my country

Guys let's be real for a second. It's hard for you to prove that you were scammed because it's his word against yours. For all we know you guys shared the account and he contributed to getting those equipments or you gave them to him out of your own free will. So even if punishing scammers was viable you wouldn't be able to prove the scam.
I will give you a great example of this. Many years ago on regular top2 server a friend and I shared a high level well geared champ account. We both invested an equal amount of time and work on building that character so by all codes of honor he was entitled to half of the stuff. But the account was created by me, with my email and like you I could claim full ownership of it all and call him a scammer if he took his items away.
And if I learned something from playing top for 12 years is that eventually most people will scam you. Maybe not at first but after a while when your gear gets really good your friend might be tempted to do something on a bad day. Greed is a human trait.
