Question to those who main fc/ds

How you even able to break even? You need to feed pet/repair ship/possibly use manu/cook/poss/ for fighting. Yet the loot from FC/DS doesn't seem that fancy.

Sure inca/eva will have it's customer, especially at start of server, but with 1x drop rate, it is not like you going to get much of those.

Refs are probably the best thing, and you can farm fc1 for those, however only the strongest guild can do it, and let's count how much we will get on averge: There are 354 total monsters that will drop ref with a 0.2% chance, including those who will spawn behind the wall, but let's include them for now anyway. 0.2% means, you will have to kill 500 monsters on averge to get a single ref. With CB thats 250, and with poss it is even better, but noone going to have it for a while anyway.

Next, you can farm runes to make even more chests, that seem like the only viable option, if you are able to do it without getting killed by another players.

I can imagine fc mains have other sources of income, but that's not what break even means, so i would like to hear stories, expirience sharing, or theories from those who actually did main FC for a while.

I would to hear too, i changed my main in TOP 2 to FC because theres pucca, so i can farm refs at higher rate. And also DS for the cracks.

Idk refs will be very important in my opinion, important enough to make Fc/DS worth it even if you get 1/2 refs between your guild each time.

FC was always about the PK and will hopefully stay the same in this server.

Yeah rewards are nice... but you don't want a maze where it's all about running away from fights

Why would i play ToP for pk only if there is League of Legends. Top is not a fair pvp game considering mallers, but that's exactly what makes it fun in the end.

Well, i've been FCer most of the time in ToP. The thing is, FC opens once in 3 hours. And you're basicly not obligated to be there for 2 hours. Like, if theres no PK and someone has already farmed it, then theres no point in staying there. I always had a high level alt. Most of the high level chars are still pretty good with FC eqs if they are decent gemed. As i already mentioned before, i'm the guy who just loves manufacturing. So besides FC, i used to sell tons of manu stuffs. FC was mainly just for PK. Every other thing i did was to get gold to forge my eqs. Its true, you can't make enough from FC only. But the PK in the docks is something very very very fun.

PK was good when I was a child, I didn't mind the packet loss, the leg, dying a lot but now but now I just realized that it's the farming shit I enjoy a lot also in FlyFF. idk but thats just me xD

i dont think so. it was just the mobs there were a lot lower than lv45 ( around 3x ) thats why they almost didnt give any exp, and if they get close to leveling, they'd just suicide in some isle or smth

Dont forget that fc players will have to farm ancient generators to go inside.

Hope that players here dont start asking to remove it since this is supposed to be hard

But the drop rate is fairly low, and considering you need 10 Robot Core for 1 AG, it does take a while to accumulate an amount which will last you for a few FCs (Bear in mind, if you die, you need to spend an extra one.) Is it hard? Absolutely not. Is it another thing to pay attention to? Yup.
The thing is, they'll probably be farmed with SSs auto-using Magma, that's what'll make them easy to get.
