Problems with Xmas event

I got the quests from Santa some days ago, ive been completing them up to now, and today i was doing the one of collecting snowflakes, i finally did it like 3 hours ago, and after that, i got that ball (dont remeber the name) but the NPC in LT6 had no more quests after that to accept, because it was not well programed, and it didnt take into consideration that according to news forum, today you can also complete the quests. So i kept going with the quests, and used the ball for killing grinch, to complete Rudolf quest. Everything went well, but the problem is that Zankza fixed the error with LT6 NPC few minutes ago and finally i got the quest for killing Grinch, but like i already used the ball i cant kill it now. What can i do? I did all of this because of the xmas hat, and im pretty sad i cant get it now .
I dont know if you understand my problem, but that is something so strange, and dont really know how to explain. Im Seph in game.

Zankza fixed the error with LT6 NPC few minutes ago

It wasn't broken, some other people just never bothered to do quests. The quests are working very well.

The LT6 NPC works just as intended, countless of my friends including myself has completed the quest without any issue

So in short:

1. you took the quest at the NPC in LT6, the quest that promted you to throw Golden Christmas Snowball at The grinch
2. You threw the Snowball at The grinch, but it didnt count as the kill? yet you got Rudolph from him?
3. and you can't complete the main quest because it didnt count as a kill, and you only completed one of the other quetss that tells you to obtain rudolph?

Please provide us a screenshot of the questbook, like Zankza said o,o

Just for you both to know, quest worked well up to yesterday, today you had to fix it, cause it was desactivated, and you even posted a text in game. Ofc there is people that completed it, because they got all the quests before today. Problem was that todayit was bugged. I dont knoe whos fault is that, but for sure not mine. They were not working well.
