The fairy type is determined by which fruit you use (You got Str pet, so you used Demonic Fruit of Strength).
The fairies' stats are determined by the stats of their parents. Since you used fairies of mixed stats, a hybrid fairy was obtained. There's no way to reset Fairy's stats, so you might as well dump this pet somewhere in your bank, use it for Fairy Coins, or for the Poss "bug".

A game more than 10 years old, and no guide of pet marriage online? well ive found like 4 forums with the topic still alive, due some privacy thing i wont link them, your own problem was gathering poor info, and it cant be changed, i dont think our GM would be so kind to fix something like that, just bear with it like the others who learned the hard way before guides came up. Next time Google things u wanna do and see what others have done so far.
