Item Stuck in inventory after abandoning quest

The letter in the inventory is the quest item that is stuck, can't be deleted/removed no matter what
 
Why are you unable to finish quest?
 
I dropped it because I didn't want to do quests

EDIT I didn't think it would cause this problem
