mistakes were made
Maybe not entirely a punishment but perhaps if the gms notice whats going on then they might help resolve the issue in some form since it does sound like trickery on their part, that or theres other stalls to look around for, but thats just my advice for next time. Hope it can be resolved somehow. I agree though thats truly alot to lose and should be compensated in a way.I understand that I cant get the money back, but I would like the guys who took it to recive some kind of punishment.
Not the same, pls read all ahead before comentThat's silly. Technically all he did was stall an item for a higher price than it is on the market, you cannot prove that he scammed you. If I decide to sell an item for twice its price and someone buys it, am I a scammer now? Of course, the difference is 2x vs 100x, but the principle is the same. Get over it and be more careful next time.
The problem with staffs enforcing action is that it becomes quickly borderline of "for profit" and "for scam", a person who sells sand bags at 15% higher margin at west argent gate, or a person who sells hexathlon items by the greg at twice the price, and a person who sells BD torso for 1.5B.
Now, does that mean they are scam? Not necessarily, and you have something like BD torso that's really unpriceable, so as soon you traded you'll run and come up "but dad! I paid too much for this!"
We are not intervene the game itself, it's mere the economy that which you must become familiar with.
You do realize that the reason people compare it with buying an overpriced item is because you can't really prove that he forced the situation. If I place an item on stall, accidentally too cheap, close the stall and re-stall it for a higher price, I should get punished too, according to your reasoning.Of course high prices is not scam (thats not what Im saying), but thats not what happened here. The guy clearly force the situation, as I explained before. This is a bad behavior from a player towars another, when they were both talking, very differently than just having an overpriced stall.
Idk if the people is really not understandind the difference between what happened to me and buying an overpriced item on regular stall. Anyway ill just stop talking about it, because I know now that nobody cares.
Im really disapointed at staff and now I know you can do anything you want at this game without consecuences. thats all.
not gonna keep talking about this, ppl is clearly not understanding the situation, thats includes u, so goodbye. You do realize that the reason people compare it with buying an overpriced item is because you can't really prove that he forced the situation. There is no need to be bitter and wish ill upon the guy who screwed you over. You brought this on yourself and now you're disappointed that the staff won't fix your mistakes?
