HEXA for Mallers or Players?

Definitely not p2w, but it does come close. Although you can't directly purchase equips or gems in the item mall, most of the end-game eq/gems (BD gems excluded) are purchasable in-game, and considering how easy it is to become rich by malling, getting stronger by, figuratively, just malling, is quite possible.

At 40k/rum you'd need to spend 100 dollars just to get 40m which at best can get you 2 UGs with today's market which honestly isn't much. Even then you'd still have to break your back finding enough. You don't get OP just by malling this game. It can get you somewhere but even then you'll have to break your back.

Now, even if someone were to spend 1000 dollars to get so much rum, the market itself would limit the guy. No body is gonna buy 10k rums, not many people would accept rum for their UGs, and most of the things in the mall just don't go over night. Not to mention anyone who would splurge that much that often on a vanilla server is rich enough to deserve his advantage because damn, 1000 dollars is more than the average canadian's rent(especially since 1000USD is like 1.4kCAD). If anything he's a gift to the community, with most items in mall being consumable and all. He'd be pumpining supply for everyonexD

Personally I think mall as it is right now is there to help the community get by on their daily activities instead of get ahead. It's an important aspect of the game. Just imagine if all the fairies ran on pet food lol.
