Seems pretty random to me, but was something I've been wondering myself for a long time.

So, obviously the exp is perfect squares, and Im sure many people understood that but I feel like I should state the obvious.

Now to tackle the challenge of the gold... Or more specifically the delta of the gold value. i.e. The level derivative of the gold cost, the corresponding second derivative, and the gold value vs level itself. After graphing all theses values, the trend seems very predictable at the lower values, because it is. Its clearly an x^2 graph, but there seems to be a data bifurcation point in all 3 graphs. This indicates the value either is not consistently changed, OR(and the accurate response in this case) that we are dealing with an exponential. There is an exact equation for the value that I have found, but it took me a considerable amount of time and the info is probably too valuable to post publicly for free. That said, if you'd like a starting point the terms follow the following characteristic mathematical equation:

y=e^((x^a)-z)

Good luck, if you care that much, it isn't pretty. Or, I will sell you the info for 84296243 gold in game exactly.
