Equalizer Maze

With the temporary addition of this snowball arena where any player has the same chance of winning or losing I thought how it would be fun if we had one real maze, with rewards and all, that made classes equalized and relied more on strategy than equipment and gem level. A place with no manu, no pots, only equalized classes and team work. It could give new players a feel of pk that they are not quite allowed to enjoy since all mazes already have stablished guilds with decently gemmed players that have basically 0% chance of losing to inexperienced newcomers. It could have somewhat unique rewards like black market equipment, charmed berries, tickets, some random apparel vouchers or other stuff that won't make it better than FC-DS-DW but still interesting enough to players and specially newcomers, giving them another way of enjoying pk and building up some money.

What do you guys think?

dota2 is a good place to mess around if you want a strategy game where all start of equal

It's a great idea... but as Zankza said, it would have its cost. I don't think it would change the game like Dota2 changed in patch 7.0 . RIP dota2 btw.. Gave me time to play PKO online.

A maze might be too much to develop from scratch, plus all the other stuff needed to be done to "equalize" everything. Might be better to focus on other ways to help the guys starting out that wouldn't cost as much.

As far as an equal pk ground, if we can have a permanent version of snowball fight that would be pretty cool, I think

I remember during IGG PKO, there one tournament where all player were spawn with unseal 45 equip according to their class.
The map used look like Bounty PK map, people who played PS would know. Should the idea of equalized pk implemented this
could be used as reference material

I think You talk about Arena. It's 2x feature and was basically meant to revive Bar PK.

I don't see the harm in leaving it, it has potential for some future events, such as tournaments which Zankza suggested on World Chat (Totally up for something like that!)

i feel that iBruno 's suggestion is constructive. Giving sense into balancing the game. However it may take away abit of vanilla feel towards the game. But overall the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. I d say ,we go for it.

In my opinion sounds like a good idea. Im not sure about the money question as there are also another big project in development as Normie pointed.
