If such a tragedy were to occur that the Team isn't able to fix the client for all OS in time, I, and I'm sure everyone else, would want to know if there's something like a "back-up", non-custom client ready... I bet nobody would want the server launch date to be delayed further because of a client error.

This is a link to temporary client-launcher download, intend to allow the launcher to be ran on more versatile of computers, the client is inoperable and is not necessarily functional, so that means you may have to re-download the actual client in future.

This client/launcher is meant to encourage players to abuse the launcher in every way, so we may fix all problems and glitches.

Just a suggestion, u should add this post some priority at all, or link the client to normal download option, why? Well, i've received around 10 pms of my friends asking me about client and most of people dnt even know it is here, so if you could do something about this would help alot, i dont think they r the only who dont know the "Beta client" is here.

The scenario that I could think of that could be an alternative fix for the errors of Windows 7 is this:
(This is just temporary if ever.)

1. Zankza releases the client. DONE
2. Zankza then deploys a manual patch that is up-to date to the current client.
3. The players having trouble must use a batch file that starts the client instantaneous bypassing the launcher. ( I could send upload it for you guys if ever this method's approved. )

Cons
1. You won't get to use the mumble feature that comes with the launcher.
2. You can't auto update for now ( Until the launcher becomes compatible with win7. I'm not sure if it's the compatibility between the launcher and the OS, or it's about the lack of up-to date softwares such as what Z mentioned. Namely the frameworks and the service packs )
3. A tad bit additional labor to both of the parties ( Devs and Players )


Pros
1. You'll get to play the server as soon as the server's launched. ( Or at least after Z has uploaded the manual patch )


This is just a temporary idea to avoid the loss of hype for our fellow win7 users! Cheers!

My launcher is currently patching, what I noticed that I haven't seen yet is,

1.) CTRL+A feature does not work on the chatbox.
2.) The default mic of my laptop doesnt work when I use the voice chat feature.
