Bow or Gun?

Whats the best eq for an SS? Ive never tried an SS character so i have no idea which ones better to use (mainly for pvp purposes)

Both of those do have their upside and downside. Bow offers a high ceiling of DPS (Damage Per Sec.), longer range, but that is all that it offers you. Gun on the other hand does provide you with a higher max from the equipment, but gun's true spotlight is in the utility that it brings to the fight. You can seal magic classes and bosses; as well as cripple the enemy, lowering their dodge making it easier for other to hit them.
In essence the big dilemma is whether Damage vs Utility.--------Personally, I think that Gun SS is the best option because of the utility it can bring to a fight, but it is a lot cheaper to be effective. Bow SS requires a lot of investment/money to make them viable options. Both can be done and I have seen people shine with both, but I like Gun SS a lot of more.
