Bayside wreckage and Elven Fruits

Why did bayside wreckage drop elven fruit so badly? Database said that here a 20% drop of Elen fruit. But I spend like an 30 min of non-stop salvagin and get only 5 ef. And ant the same time mystic shrubs - which have 25% chance of dropping ef, drop it extremely hingh.
Is developers nerf the drop chance or what?
 
If memory serves, lifeskill resources which drop multiple items may have some problems when the lifeskill level is too high or too low(?). I remember that Iron ore at a certain skill level stopped (or still stops) dropping Iron Ore, and instead only drops the other two items. I don't know if this has any relation to your problem, if it's an actual bug or extreme bad luck, but you could try doing it with lv1 or lv10 salvage and see if that changes anything.
 
Lv10 salvage will give u good drop rate

If I remember right. We have fixed that.
 
I ended up getting lvl 10 salvaging and have kinda noticed this too. But then agian I was used to playing TOPII so the drop rates could have been different. I recall getting a stack of them in about 30 minutes (and other stuff) not i get about 40ish if I am quick enough and don't need to repair too often.

I still say the developers need to make me a dealthsoul ship when you hit 75 ;)

Here is how it works here. For each resource drop (salvage is also resource), all the possible drop items are generated. And then just one of them is randomly selected.

Ahh that clears up a lot of speculation. I know in some other MMOs the item is already created and you just reveal it once it is uncovered. So for instance if NSS was the same way you might have a unique gem already in your stack, but until you reveal it you wouldn't know. A slightly different calculation than randomly selecting or dropping the item after generating them.

Regardless in practice you still have to grind to get the good stuff. it sounds like its just a luck of the draw how quickly you can gather those items.

Statistically. Over huge time interval. You will always get the same result.
